A Nice Experience

My wife loves fondue and I think it is okay
The overall experience was really nice with a very attentive waiter who made suggestions and gave us extra of anything we asked for.
The cheese for the first course was a little bland. The waiter did recommend a few options to make it better, we should have listened.
Overall it was a really nice dinner and we would go back.

Want to give 3.5 stars

I LOVE fondue and did enjoy this a good deal. The only things that were a drawback for me was because it's not a vegan restaurant, they don't necessarily know how to do vegan exceptionally well.

The cheese fondue was good, but needed a better depth of flavours, the dipping items were very good and you could have as many as you wanted.

The salad was pretty mediocre and mine came with real cheese so I needed a new one which was not a big deal but still sucked I ate a bit of dairy cheese 🤮

The broth fondue was good. We couldn't decide between two flavours so our waiter gave us both at no extra cost. I definitely preferred the mushroom and red wine broth over the regular broth.

The chocolate fondue was excellent and came with great dipping options as well and more of the fruit or snack items if you wanted more to dip. We also learned that Daiya cheesecake is SO much better if you eat it at room temp.

Would Be 5 Stars

If I could I would give this restaurant another star. It may not be fully vegan, but they have a separate vegan menu. They are incredibly attentive, diligent, and caring.

I went here on a date with my partner a while back (earlier this year) and ended up chatting with several servers. I'd mentioned that my partner had a bad day and they gave them a free tray of chocolate covered strawberries. I am over the moon by their customer service (which rivals any fine dining restaurant we've been to) and can't wait to support them again the minute they open their doors again.

Pros: attentive staff, caring staff, knowledgable staff

Go for dessert!

This is a chain restaurant, not sure how much it varies by franchise. The KOP location has a totally separate vegan menu (December 2019 visit)!

Cheese pot is Daiya cheddar with bread & crudites (raw veggies). You have to really like the taste of cheddar before the dipping novelty wears off. If not a cheddar fan, just order chocolate and more chocolate!

Entree uses Gardien meat and lots of veggies, cooked to order at your table.

This is at least a 2 hour meal. If you want fun and quicker, go for dessert. The chocolate dippers of fresh fruits, vegan marshmallows, pretzels, and vegan cheesecake are great fun to share in a leisurely atmosphere.

Pros: Leisurely meal, great to converse, Fruit & chocolate!

Cons: Can take longer than 2 hours for a full meal, A bit pricey

Vegan 4 course menu!

See pictures above—- totally vegan menu available- be sure into ask for it. I went July 2019. After looking at menu now though (October 2019) the selections aren’t as good. Before entree came with also gardein meats and a vegan cheese stuffed ravioli (as well as veggies) for dipping but now only lists a bunch of veggies and tofu.. also the vegan dark chocolate fondue over the summer came with Daiya vegan cheesecake and vegan marshmallows (as well as fruit), now it just lists fruits... so I’m not sure how it will compare, I will have to go back. Overall though the cheese fondue and chocolate fondue themselves were my favorite anyway, so hopefully it is a similar experience!
