good shop

Great owner who is passionate about food and the arts.
Although limited in food (as the shop is split into three parts, one part.food), but the first thing i noticed was vegan cheese in the fridge.
I love shops that have loose coffees, loose teas and loose herbs. Although limited it's worth a visit.

Pros: vegan products, staff, art

Arts, crafts and vegan-veggie fayre

This shop has a good range of healthy products (vitamins and minerals, health and beauty products, teas and coffees and food). Herbs and spices are sold by weight (so you can ask for a small amount to try out, or a larger amount for big cooking needs). The staff are very knowledgeable and can tell you all about the products and their uses. The art gallery and craft shop sells "healthy books" too, many recipe and health and wellbeing topics, as well as a range of local gifts/ souvenirs.

Pros: herbs and spices by weight, vitamins/ minerals stocked, friendly staff

Something Different

A decent store mainly focussing on a large range of teas and infusions. There are also a couple of fridges with vegan and vegetarian produce (sheese, soya milk, Alpro & Provamel products etc). They also sell confectionery, vegan snacks, jams, and health food products. There is an art and craft gallery at the back of the store. Worth a visit. When I took some 'reduced to clear' out of date Alpro soya deserts to the desk I was given them for free, as they would have been thrown away that day.

Pros: sells vegan cheeses
