Mostly vegetarian - Edit
Vegetarian menu available with portobello mushroom burger, vegetarian burger and mac & cheese. The staff was friendly and patience but unfortunately not familiar with veganism so questions about the menu were tricky, like what kind of bread they use.

It’s a cute upstairs restaurant so don’t be deterred by the stairs and tight spacing. The veggie burger was good and the sweet potato fries were crispy.

The Market House has an entire page of vegetarian options with all but one being vegan, also. Great service. Doesn't accept Amex, but that wasn't an issue for us.

Knowledgeable Staff - Edit
This was my first meal out since turning vegan. I was glad to have this app to suggest places to eat. I mentioned to the server that I was vegan and gave her my order. She informed me that the sweet potato fries were fried in the same oil as the chicken and suggested the homemade potato chips. I appreciated this knowledge. Thank you. Tasty meal!

Nice staff, underwhelming food - Edit
Just visited and found the food to be very overpriced for what it was. My husband got the vegetarian platter which was basically a handful of mixed veggies and a small portion of beans and rice for $12. I got the portobello sandwich which was also not super exciting. We were excited to see they had a full vegetarian menu but the food itself was overpriced and very basic.

They have a whole page of vegetarian options and offered to make things vegan. The vegetarian burger was a Beyond burger this time and was so good! I felt like this was the only place in Galena that has vegan or even vegetarian options. I wish I could have tried their mixed drinks!!

High five for the staff - Edit
Although this place is rather traditional, meat-based eatery, the ladies that run it know very well about veganism. They offer an entire vegetarian menu with vegan picks and offer a lot of swaps according to the customer. I was offered a beyond burger which was awesome. If I visit Galena back, no doubt I go to this place again.
