Layover in IAH

Had a little bit of time to kill so I looked around a bit, passed on a few of the other spots listed on Happy Cow upon seeing the menus. Yes, airport food is overpriced and there’s not a lot of good options. The Mediterranean bowl at the Market By Villa is the best one (hold the tzatziki)in my opinion. Comes with hummus, onions cucumber, garbanzos and your choice of rice or quinoa. I got quinoa. This was the most nutritious option I saw anywhere nearby, and also a pretty good size portion. Not great but I was just looking for sustenance for the next leg of my journey.

No vegan options

It has no vegan options. Burritos are ready to go, so you can't ask for an ingredient to be taken off.

Cons: No vegan options

Made to order salad!

Good fresh salad - not a bad price for an airport and all was fresh and good! Generous toppings!

Salad was good😄

The price for the salad was a bit expensive, but the the vegan salad was easy to put together and it was nice and yummy with some mango vinagrette😄

Service was also nice and helpful!

okay only

Considering the other options here this place seems decent. There are three or some hot food items which are vegan, and obviously a salad bar. I just stopped in a little bit late they close early on Fridays, 9pm, and there wasn't much. they stop making juices about an hour before closing. The roasted potatoes look good so I got a side of them and a soup. The potatoes seemed to have been sitting there all day and we're not very good. The soup was just too salty so I ate about half and threw the rest away.

Cons: limited hot food options, bad at end of the day

Don’t waste your time or money

I walked all the way here from terminal A cause it said there were hot vegan options. What a waste of my time and money. I explained to the guy that I wasn’t getting any meat, what are my options? He said I could do 3 sides. So I did rice, broccoli and potatoes. He was VERY stingy with the rice. I asked for more and he literally just sprinkled half a spoon of rice into my container... whatever as long as it’s tasty and cheap. Go to pay, it’s $12! I explain to her that all I got was rice potatoes and broccoli. Nope. She wasn’t having it. Very rude too. I begrudgingly pay cause I walked all the way there and I was hungry and didn’t have much time. I walk all the way back to terminal A and sit down to eat. Food is BLAND AND OLD AND TASTELESS. Worst experience ever. Do not waste your time or money.

Pros: Has salads, Convenient if you’re in Terminal E

Cons: Expensive, the 1 $ sign is misleading, Bland. Terrible hot vegan options, Rude employees
