Deli sandwiches surprisingly bad! - Edit
I'm not picky and I almost never leave negative reviews. I went to another Rooted restaurant a few years ago and I was very impressed!
Read moreWe ordered 3 sandwiches from The Market. The Bahn Mi had nothing to do with Bahn Mi. It had sweet "bread and butter" type pickles mixed with marinated onions, mayonnaise, super salty tofu, tons of avocado and some cilantro. No pressed/toasted bread, jalapeno, cucumber, pickled, daikon or carrot! The flavor was salt and oil. The BLAT was flavorless and dry. The breakfast Sammy was a mushy mess of refried beans, vegan eggs and cheese but at least it had a little flavor from the jalapenos. I had had the chickpea mash sandwich last time I went to Rooted, but now they add green apples and sugary cranberries, oh why?? The iced lattes are essentially cafe ole, no foam. Instead the customer pays extra for a sweetened vanilla foam. On the plus side the outdoor seating and neighborhood community vibes are very nice! Also they are 100% vegan!

Lots of grab n go options as well as their yummy coffee drinks! Friendly staff and nice picnic tables set up outside to enjoy lunch or coffee.

Such a cool concept to have a vegan grocery market plus deli and cold case grab and go. Rooted has a really good brunch place that’s popular. This is a wonderful place for lunch or a snack.
