Great selection

This store has so many goodies in it. Well worth parking for in Charlotte street. Always come here for Tamari and other things I can get a larger stores, however love the vibe here. And it’s a local store. A staple of My travels

Pros: Good selection, Prices are comparable , Things I can’t in other places.

Cons: It can be tight in there in busy days

Best bulk store ever

And the oldest independent one in Canada, I believe. A bunch of stuff from each category is on sale every month, seniors and students get weekly discounts, almost the entire store is 10% off on "Thrifty Thursday" (the third one of the month) and one category of items will be 20%. Non-dairy ice cream and yogurt FTW!

Great shop, awesome staff

Really love the Main Ingredient. I definitely don’t shop here enough! Great selection of bulk foods and they encourage customers to bring their own containers. They even have a stash of jars and stuff if you forget yours and don’t want to use plastic. They have an amazing bulk spice room. Everyone I’ve talked to who works here is lovely.
