Great Sunday roasts and friendly staff - Edit
A group of us had Sunday lunch here and really enjoyed the nut roast, veggie beef and all the sides. Delicious and very good sized portions!

I can’t recommend The Magic Sunflower highly enough! Mark, Jess, and Az are truly some of the kindest, most welcoming people you’ll ever meet, and supporting their home-grown café is always a joy.
Read moreThe coffee is exceptional, some of the best I’ve ever had and the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every meal I’ve had here has been a wonderful experience, both in taste and service.
On top of that, their selection of homemade cakes is always a treat, and they’ve recently added an incredible range of ice creams and milkshakes. Each one is bursting with flavor, made from fresh, natural ingredients, and crafted with real care.
The vibe is wonderful often with funky easygoing music and with limited seating it’s never overcrowded.
Whether you’re vegan or not, this is a spot you won’t want to miss. Highly recommended!

Food was fresh and delicious, and I’m glad I detoured a little to find somewhere friendly en route.

Magic Sunflower is a gem for foodies - no fuss, just really good food. Everything I tried was well seasoned and full of flavour without being overly salty. A great selection of cakes that looked especially nice!

Came here for a roast dinner and couldn't fault it. A creative colourful spin on a Sunday lunch. Staff there are also lovely. Will have to return to sample the cakes too!

The loveliest cafe with the loveliest vibe. I had the ‘Sunflower Scramble’ which was so tasty! All food is freshly prepared- you could certainly tell this! I also took a selection of cakes home for family - they were incredible! Allergens are clearly labelled on the menu which is a big win.

I had a brief stopover in Sheffield, and within minutes, I was already planning my escape – but not before finding a gem that made the detour worth it. After scoping out the options, The Magic Sunflower caught my eye, and a quick train ride later, I was there.

The café itself has a welcoming, laid-back vibe, great music, and eye-catching murals on the walls. It’s the kind of place that pulls you in and makes you want to stay just a little longer. There are plenty of other great options on the menu, so it’s worth the trip out of Sheffield if you’re nearby!

I went for the first time on Sunday and it was absolutely lovely, the atmosphere was nice and chilled the food was incredible, really good portion sizes, tasty and decent prices. Will definitely be going again and can't wait to try the Sunday roast!

Amazing cherry bakewell cupcakes! Made a last minute order and had gorgeous cupcakes two days later, the staff couldn't have been more flexible and accommodating. I added the sprinkles but the icing was beautiful by itself (and super tasty!)

Popped in for breakfast on Saturday. It was my first visit. Loved the vibe of the decor, warming. Really friendly service. The food was great, colourful and tasty. Looking forward to going back again.

Saturday 27.01.2024 this is our fourth visit and again it was for breakfast. We did come last year for Sunday lunch and another time for lunch on a Saturday. Friendly service every time😄

Saturday 29/03/25 lunch here with an old friend and B. I had the TLT, B had the Sunflower Salad Bowl, and A had the Rainbow Salad Bowl. Great food, and friendly service. What more could anyone ask for.

Wow! I've read about this place via Vegan Chesterfield but this has been our first opportunity to visit. Super-friendly cafe with amazing chilled vibe. Food was incredible, freshly made and the coffee was as tasty as it was ethical. Bought cakes as a takeaway (too full to eat after lunch!) We'll definitely be back.
