Good Vegan Options - Edit

The Magic Garden is a quirky sort of place. They have live (a lot of 'alternative') music and it's decked out in a sort of bohemian/hippy style. There were a couple of very annoying (and very drunk) musician types sitting in the (actual) black taxi in the garden there on the Sunday afternoon that I visited.

Aside from them, I'd say it was a good place to relax. There are plenty of vegan options on the menu. As it was a Sunday I went for the nut roast. It was good, although I thought they were a bit stingy with the veg. I'd go back though.

Pros: Good vegan options, Nice quirky pub with huge outside space, Live music and friendly staff

Cons: Portion size a bit small, Staff tolerating very drunk/annoying musicians

Amazing vegan options at a great small music venue/pub - Edit

Went to the Magic Garden to watch some live bands and didn't think they would have any food to start with.

I looked up their menu the day before going and was so amazed that they had such a great range of vegan lunches, dinners etc.

We both had the buffalo cauliflower burger with fries, and I just wanted another burger straight afterwards (it was that amazing).

If you're in the area, definitely pop in for some food and a pint.

Pros: Good vegan foods, Chilled atmosphere, Great selected of beers and wine
