Delicious vegan breakfast - Edit
Fabulous spot in Barmouth for a traditional vegan breakfast. Large portions, very tasty and well cooked. I had the large vegan breakfast minus the tomatoes and it was very filling. There is also a small version too if you want something lighter. They also do several vegan mail meals too. I would highly recommend this place.

Absolute gem of a cafe with vegan/ vegetarian menu - Edit
Husband and I stumbled upon this little cafe on the high street in Barmouth on our day out there yesterday ! Lovely waitress and friendly owner/chef made us feel instantly welcomed!
Read moreI originally ordered the vegan cowl with crusty bread but this was unfortunately sold out so I opted for the vegetable curry and jacket potato and my husband had the vegetarian full breakfast and side order of chips ! When our order arrived the portions were huge and very appetising. The chips were to die for , skin on and lightly coated in a seasoned batter . Everything homemade and extremely tasty .
The cafe is dog friendly so you can bring your little furry chums with you as you feast !
We will be returning next time we visit Barmouth and hopefully I get to sample the welsh vegan cowl on that occasion!
Well worth a visit and you won’t be disappointed

Barmouth is tricky to find vegan food in, particularly if you prefer entirely vegan eateries.
Read moreThe Lunchbox is being run by a family where there are vegan family members, so you can at least feel reassured here that there is less contamination or misunderstanding risk!
There are a few options and the food is in line with the British seaside, but the portions are large and we didn't need lunch after such a huge breakfast! The waitress was friendly and worked non stop, cleaning and polishing and generally maintaining standards that the prices wouldn't lead me to expect.
Nice little place in the town and a relief to find if you're in Barmouth for a weekend!

Stood outside and saw this sign, the most lovely staff member lauren who is vegan came out excited telling us all the options we can have. Made a adult vegan meal our daughter, so accommodating even thought they had run out of a lot of food. We had burgers, chips, onion rings. Oat milk for coffee. So happy we found this
