A beautiful setting with vegan pizza - Edit
Not too many vegan options, but innovative options. The vegan pizza was to die for!

Separate and delicious vegan menu - Edit
We sat outside on a blazingly hot Wednesday lunchtime as we had our dog with us. There is a stand behind with plants for sale which was tempting while we waited!
Read moreThe lost kitchen now has a separate vegan menu since some of last reviews. Photos of vegan menu added. I shared the chickpea socca (i’m glad to say shared - if I had ordered it just for me I would never have managed my main!). I could happily have eaten the remains of the dip once the socca had been eaten. The roast cauliflower was tasty but made even more so By the homemade pesto And beetroot purée it sat on. I don’t normally like beetroot particularly Really delicious and clearly made on site. The staff were friendly and I thought it was good value, especially for the quality and variety.
Pros: Lovely fresh food, Good vegan menu, Nice staff and surroundings

Excellent lunch - we were lucky they squeezed us in, advise booking - Edit
A really great restaurant, predominantly pizza but had two great vegan mains, and four vegan pizza options.
Read moreThe food tasted great, really liked the fermented green chilli and cucumber relish. Highly recommend the spicy pizza .
The local beer was also fantastic.

Get the banana bread!! - Edit
The Lost Kitchen do not have loads of vegan options but the ones they do have are thoughtful additions. I would recommend a visit for some good food and the wonderful setting!
Read moreI cannot recommend the banana and pumpkin bread more. Absolutely stunning. I will not be able to have a slice of banana bread on its own again.
They are happy to make accommodations, with a number of items such as the fungi pizza possible to be adapted to vegan.

Delicious food in beautiful setting - Edit
Loved that there was multiple choices for all courses and very much part of the menu rather than an extra!
Read moreDelicious locally sourced foods. The portions initially looked quite small for the price but came away stuffed! Beautifully presented and loved the flavour the wood fired oven gave to the veg, bean dips etc.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Friendly staff, Beautiful setting
Cons: Some sheepskins on seats
