Frozen foods reheated

It seems like all the vegan option are ready to eat frozen food from the supermarket that they just reheat.
The burger was okay, the pakora wasn't tasty.

It also seems like they changed the menuand there are fewer options than what previous reviews suggest.

Entweder fettig oder zu wenig

Ok, britische und schottische Küche sind nicht dafür bekannt, dass sie besonders gesund sind, aber essen war auch noch recht schnell und lieblos zubereitet.
Es gab einen veganen Burger oder Pommes oder zwei vegetarische Kleinigkeiten, die vegan gemacht werden konnten oder eben den „Salat“ mit veganem Filet, den ich hatte.
Der Salat bestand aus einer Handvoll grüner Blätter, vielen Zwiebel und drei cherrytomaten. Dazu dann ein Haufen von dem fertig-panierten Filet und ein Dressing, was mehr eine zuckrige dickflüssige Chilisauce war.
Geschmacklich 3, Menge 5 - wer soll denn von so einem Minisalat satt werden, obwohl er als Main Dish angepriesen ist?
Schade, dafür dann mit knapp 11£ auch viel zu teuer

Good food

Various vegan items clearly labelled on the menu. I had the vegan friend check katsu loaded fries and the vegan burger. Katsu loaded fries were amazing

Nice pub with vegan options

We had the vegan cheeseburger and the falafel and spinach burger which were tasty but a bit on the dry side. The chips/ fries were delicious!

The menu (in 2023) doesn’t have declarations for the vegan options anymore, but the friendly staff kindly helped us out.

Standard pub fair

Stopped in for dinner. I had the the Louisiana burger and my partner had the peri peri stir fry. I LOVED the burger 🍔 but my partner thought the stir fry was a little average.

Pros: Vegan options clearly marked

Cons: Serves meat, Slightly pricey

Very tasty food, amazing service

We both had burgers and they were the best ones so far in Scotland!
Restaurant also has a few other vegan options.
Service was nice and fast and food arrived after around 7 minutes.
Really recommend this restaurant if you travel to Fort William and surroundings!

Vegan burgers and outdoor seating

Several vegan options, all of which are tasty and good value for money. It's all fairly standard fayre except the Thai burger, definitely better than the only other dine-in place nearby (Moorings Hotel) whose veggie options have dwindled year by year into nothing. There's plenty of seating inside The Lochy, as well as four or so outdoor tables. Staff have always been friendly, and there's a separate pub area next to the dining room which has pool and darts, if you fancy a drink and some games after your meal!

Pros: Good value, Multiple vegan options

Good choice of vegan options

The pub has 3 different vegan burger choices, a curry, a salad and vegan garlic bread, breakfast and lunch options. The staff are friendly and the service is quick.
