I expected more

Went to the Local Beets at the Vibes Complex, Kuwait. The decor is modern, seating in and out doors. The service was good throughout my evening. I was looking forward to the vegan tofu or spicy tofu bowl, but was told the Vegan bowls had been removed from menu. The website needs updating. I ordered the Wild mushrooms soup, the beetroot patties (Power trip), Vegan carrot cake and coffee. I was told then, at this location there were no hot drinks😑. The mushroom soup was creamy and delicious. I was then brought 2 small beetroot falafel burgers w/kale chips. The two burgers were delicious, but it would be a more nutritious meal w/three burgers! The kale chips were crisp but could use more seasoning. Lastly, the carrot cake looked small but was dense enough to fill. The cake was tasteless and the creamed topping was also bland. I expected more.

many delicious vegan options

their vegan options are labeled which made it easier to choose and they have a lot! their sweet green salad is soo good I highly recommend😋 also for breakfast try the vegan pancakes😍
