So tasty I went back twice in a day

Was recommended by two vegan friends for their cakes…but I began with the truffle oil pasta with artichokes. It was beyond delicious! A friend with he got Taiwanese sesame paste cold noodle - their comment was “Very healthy and healthy tasty snack”. Went back later the same day with two friends and had the berry crepe cake, which I’ve seen made plenty of times on YouTube but never made myself…was great to try, fresh and creamy. Friends got (1) brew chai with almond milk and maple syrup and said “Good proper brew chai”, (2) a Sesame iced latte - which was “Refreshing and perfect” and (3) a Lemon macaron, which they said “It delightfully tasted of nuttelex”. Good time had by all and I love the best coffee cups!!

Pros: The bear coffee cups, Artichoke truffle oil pasta, The little alcove nook things you can sit in

Super tasty! To-die-for chicken

The chicken and waffles were A M A Z I N G. I've been vegan for 25 years and it was the best veg chicken I've ever eaten. We also went to Rude Boy (who specialise in chicken) for dinner, and the Little Poet chicken was better. The vibes here were super cute, the coffee was lovely, and the desserts were amazing. The only thing we didn't like was the vegan egg (we ordered it on the side) — it was so vile I could barely swallow it. Still, everything else was amazing and I would 100% come again.

Cool vibe, cute mugs

I had a big breakfast and the Taiwanese pancake both of which were nice with the Taiwanese pancake being the star (make sure to ask for vegan and add extras if you want). To echo others, I was keen to try the cakes but seemed expensive for what they were. Overall I really liked it but found the menu a bit confusing, like when something was or wasn't vegan but still a great option in Hobart!

The mugs were also really cute for the chai latte so would recommend that 🥰

There once was a boy from Nantucket

Righto. So the space is kinda nice. Coffee range was good, and they cared about specifying between vegan and egg or milk options.
However, the food is exactly what you could make in 5 minutes given access to Coles veg section and a sandwich press. That's not terrible if you're travelling and miss the comfort of a home cooked toastie or a V2 schnitzel with a bag of 4 leaf lettuce. But the price sure stings given you're probably familiar with all the ingredients.

In the end it was exactly fine, not bad but not excellent. If they had longer opening hours I might bump it to 4 stars for convenience, but for now it'll stay a basic 3.

Oh also the matcha cookie was horrible.

Cons: Matcha Cookie

Wow!

This place is just beautiful. I tried the special - French toast, which I’ve not had since going vegan 13 years ago, and it was next level! The coffee was great too. The decor was lovely and the staff were really nice as well. I’ll be back for sure! #Veganuary

Amazing dishes, you can veganize almost anything

The menu might seem confusing, since they highlight vegan alternatives and other descriptions just say "egg" or "cheese". You can order almost anything vegan, and I'd definitely go for the matcha macaroon at any time. The lunch dishes are creative, but this place work best as a breakfast or brunch spot in my opinion. I loved the nuanced flavors, and technique seems crucial here, because I'm pretty sure I tried the same or similar products in Sydney and didn't like them as much as here. If you do order the ham and egg bagel, ask without ketchup/tomato sauce, and it will probably blow your mind.

Pros: Great taste, Good price, Great ambiance, friendly staff

Cons: Menu coulf be clearer

Nice Place But Horrible Bun

The Kim chi burger was the worst I have had. The bun was not fresh nor good quality. Even the non chicken filling was too chewy.
Beware the credit card fee.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Nice smoothies , Nice place

Cons: Credit card fees, Stale bun that was poor quality, Plastic straws

A local gem

We visited this place based on Happy Cow reviews and it didn’t disappoint! In fact, I’ve loved it so much I want to keep going there to try as much as I can on the menu while we’re staying in Hobart. Yesterday I tried the Taiwanese sesame paste cold noodles (with homemade truffle sauce) and had prana chai with soy milk and maple syrup. Both were exactly what I was in the mood for and truly delicious! My husband had the Buddha bowl - he says it was fab, had great textures and was plenty to eat. Today we tried their big brekkie and had the chai again. Once more, the meal was excellent - great combination of flavours, fresh and filling. Surprisingly for a place with such yummy food, it wasn’t too busy and the staff are lovely & attentive without hovering.

Pros: Heaps of yummy, creative offerings, Lovely staff and ambience, Good location

Cons: I’m just visiting Hobart instead of living here

Nice fancy venue!

I was very happy to try this venue. The atmosphere is very fancy, the decoration is lovely. The food is very good, I was surprised how tasty was my fried chicken and waffle, amazing!
The only thing I’d say it’s the price which seems to be too high for me (for the quantity of food we got) I didn’t even take any desert because they were tiny and overpriced

Pros: Vegan menu, Tasty food

Cons: Very expensive, Small amount of food

Amazing vegan/vege cafe.

Great menu, everything looked amazing. We’ve tried the egg Benedicte, the oyster fried mushroom and the chicken waffle it was all super tasty and full of flavours. I really recommend this place. Matcha and turmeric latte very well done !
If you’re looking for a brunch place this is the place. Really kind staff.

Munching like hungry hippos

Absolutely brilliant bao buns - just the most beautiful texture you can imagine my girlfriend ate 3. Even the sandman could not make dreams taste as good as these.

Incredible Menu

This is a pretty place hide on the side, with great menu options and an awesome tea, with a beautiful serve as you can see on my pictures.
The only think is the desert is not gluten free at all and replacing normal flour by gluten free flour would be a great bonus for everyone !

Updated from previous review on 2022-09-28

Pros: Incredible vegetarian options, Incredible vegan options, Fews gluten free options

Cons: Desert, they should replace for GF flour , The vegan foie gras is more like a tapenade.
