Absolutely the best Indian food ever - Edit
We have travelled through south India and have to say that this is the best Indian food we’ve ever had in the UK.
Read moreWe had three vegetarian side dishes as mains and a paratha as a starter plus coconut rice. Honestly, the food was amazing, tasty, fresh and totally authentic.
We would absolutely recommend a visit and experience true Keralan cuisine.
The service was spot on, friendly and the restaurant was really relaxed.
We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Grantham.
PS I’d give a five star rating but Happy Cow won’t allow because it’s not 100% vegetarian/vegan

South Indian food in Grantham! - Edit
I was delighted to discover that a South Indian restaurant has opened in South Lincolnshire. I don't know another one in this area. I have really missed South Indian food since moving back to this area from London. I was not disappointed. I visited with family at Sunday lunch time. We chose the vegan thali, which was the easiest option because then we didn't have to decide from all the deliciously different sounding dishes on the main menu : the chef's choices would just be brought to us, which also made it more exciting! Our thali consisted of 4 courses, starting with savoury doughnuts with dips, then rice pancakes with a light creamy curry, then a selection of dry and liquid curries, pickles and dips served with rice and poppadoms, followed by sweet coconut pancakes wrapped in banana leaves. I was in heaven......I will definitely be going back to try more dishes off the menu which were not included in the thali. South Indian (Keralan) food is mainly vegan, and the owner was delighted to be catering for vegans. He said the local vegan group hold their regular meetings there. He was keen to talk about the dishes and answer questions. Friendly staff, charming decor, outside eating areas and upstairs function room available.
