Limited selection but quite tasty - Edit
We visited this cosy little village pub after a long hike around The Roaches/Tittesworth Reservoir.

We ordered the aubergine and black bean burger which is advertised as a vegetarian dish but can be made vegan if served without a house coleslaw and in a non-brioche bun. The burger was quite large and tasty for a simple black bean patty.
We also ordered the Parmentier pie which comes vegan when served without parmesan cheese. It was a little smaller a portion but very tasty and flavoursome. The veg on the side was very fresh but the pie itself was the actual real deal—the roasted rosemary potatoes were superb and the pie filling was one of the best I’ve had.
The pub is located in a little village just outside Leek and about 5 minutes’ walk from Tittesworth Reservoir. It has an extensive alcohol menu and seems to be quite popular. There are several tables inside and extra additional seating outside. The service was prompt and staff were positive and happy. Payment is card only and prices are on the higher side (but as advertised on their website).
Overall, we are quite happy with the food and the experience. We will likely visit again when going to The Roaches or Tittesworth Reservoir.
