Impressive Vegan Kamayan Feast - Edit
The Laughing Monk and Chef Reina offer an amazing Kamayan feast option on Tuesday nights. The traditional Philippine meal includes a huge selection of delicious foods and is eaten on banana leaves with your hands. They food was delicious and we were thrilled to try a variety of items, including lumpia, fried mushrooms, pancit, katsu, and sizzling mushrooms & tofu. The presentation was beautiful and such a fun, one of a kind dining experience. Currently, the cost is $95 per person and includes a cocktail for each. We will definitely be back, likely to order off of the regular menu which has tons of vegan options - but for the Kamayan Feast, it's worth making a reservation and trying it!

Almost fully vegan filipino food at brewpub - Edit
The menu is from Chef Reina, who formally operated an all vegan filipino take away restaurant in Brisbane. While this menu unfortunately does have some meat, it’s overwhelmingly vegan by default (with I think nearly everything being able to be made vegan.)

Great vegan pub food - Edit
New location with a great selection of vegan foods by Chef Reina. A ton of indoor seating including an upstairs and a bar.
Read moreOrdered the starter Lumpia Shanghai. Very flavorful without just tasting like oil. There were 12 rolls which felt like a lot for a starter but I'm not complaining. 😁
Also ordered the Fried Chickn Sandwich made vegan with a side ceaser salad. The sandwich was excellent! Flavorful without feeling too unhealthy. Could have had another!
And they have a vegan flan on the menu which I had to check out. I've never had a good vegan flan, though this one was probably the best I've had!
Large selection of beer, cocktails, and mocktails.
