Vegan Mexican breakfast was delicious - Edit
Lovely, relaxed atmosphere, with a good selection of vegan cakes and cookies. I had the vegan breakfast and it was delicious - which was a generous portion compared to the non-vegan pancakes!

Really nice and friendly service - Edit
We were greeted friendly and felt really welcome. Sadly the coffee was, at least for my taste not strong enough. There were a lot of vegan options but probably because we were late they were out of a few. Never the less I had a great carrot cake which was really tasty and the seating outside is wonderful.

not bad - Edit
We had hot drinks which were tasty but lukewarm. The vegan cake we tried was very average tasting, and the triple cooked fries weren't actually cooked that well in the middle. Service was ok but not great, we had to borrow s p from another table on the other side of the cafe. Not good value for money either

Nice Place for Coffee - Edit
I've been to the Larder a few times now as it's just down the road. It's not usually our first choice but something we go for if we want to bring the dog along so they are dog friendly. The dishes are hit and miss. They do update and change their meals which keeps things interesting but overall we don't find that it's value for your money.
Read moreIt hasn't been busy during the times we've been and I have noticed that a few people tend to come and do a bit of studying or reading so great for a cup of coffee or something.
Overall if you want to have a quick bite or so in a vegetarian/vegan friendly place, it's worth a pop by if you're in the area.
Pros: New dishes each week or so, Dog-friendly place with outdoor seating

Not so vegan friendly, neither inexpensive - Edit
Went there looking for some lunch, but neither the day special (chickpea curry) nor the soup were vegan, even though both could have been made so very easily. Quite a few snack-type meals but almost all of them contain eggs or cheese. The homemade cupcakes contained also honey, so well.
Read moreThe portions are pretty small and I found it rather expensive for what it is. This said, the place is indeed nice.

Lovely, delicious and plenty of choice - Edit
A light, airy, friendly spot that has everything from warming meals to delicious cakes.
Read moreLoads of Vegan options.. I had a delicious potato and chick pea curry puff pastry parcel with a side salad and my partner had stuffed pepper. There was also soup, lots of other hot options and loads of cakes. Really good soya flat white too.
Pros: Friendly, lots of vegan options, cheap
