Exactly what the York vegan community needed

I'm here at least twice a week to get pre-packaged homemade, all-organic sandwiches, meals, desserts, and some pantry items such as vegan marshmallows and jerky. I'll grab a coffee with 4 choices of plant milks or flavored Italian soda. It's always a pleasure to shop the different variety. There is no menu since offerings vary at least twice per week and often posted on Facebook.

This vegetarian has become much more vegan by having this place in York.

Also a Vintage Shop with little events held by groups from time to time. Open late on First Fridays which have been fun with open mic. I am running into my vegan friends much more since this community cafe & shop opened and also meeting many more that I had never seen before.

Pros: Homemade, all-organic food, Safe, quiet location for vegans to chill & network, Reasonably-priced to-go food & drinks

Cons: No shopping carts; must make many trips to counter, Closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays, No liquor license
