Can't Stay Away from this Place!! - Edit
Love this place in Central Bolton. Service very friendly and attentive. Meals very tasty and made with love. Good prices. Excellent cake (especially the Walnut one).
My fav hot meal so far has been the Dragon Pie but have also had a parsnip-based stew and they did a great Christmas Meal for our local vegan group. Handy to pick up vegan easentials also from the shop swction.Nice community atmosphere. Long Live The Kitchen!!

Large selection of reasonably priced vegan options - Edit
Visited Bolton today through work and stumbled upon this place on HappyCow. Kind of a cafe vibe but does loads of great food and mainly vegan too. I grabbed a soup for lunch. The lunches daily. Then I went back in the early evening for a takeaway. Got a gorgeous bean and mushroom burger, potato wedges and a mezze salad box with veggie kofte. Really really nice. Dead reasonable too. I got all that and a bottle of pop for £11.50. Highly recommend.
Pros: Loads of options for vegans, Reasonably priced, It exists
Cons: Wish it was open later as I would have loved to ha

A great place for a quiet lunch or gathering - Edit
I eat there on average, at least twice a month. There is always a great selection of hot and cold beverages, freshly made cakes and deserts for those with a sweet tooth, and the daily mains / soup of the day have never ever disappointed. If you are unsure what to order, I recommend a kofta burger with wedges, or a gozleme (flat bread) stuffed with spinach. very filling and reasonably priced too.
Pros: great food, knowledgable staff, great value
Cons: can get busy

Lovely, friendly place and delicious soups - Edit
I pop in to The Kitchen every time I'm in Bolton town centre in lunchtime or if I happen to wait for a train, as it's near the rail station. Apart from the mains, there is a usual choice of two or three soups on the menu which are very creative and vary from day to day - I especially love their cashew nut + celery soup, watercress + spinach soup and lentil+miso soup.
A falafel / vegetable kofta meal with hummus, salads and pitta bread are available every day and are also very tasty (photo attached).
And if you have a sweet tooth, there is a vegan chocolate fudge cake or a lemon drizzle poppy-seed cake to go with your coffee.
The members of staff are very friendly and easy-going.
The atmosphere here is relaxed. You can sit at the window on a high stool, read a newspaper and watch the world passing by.
Pros: Large portions

Great find! - Edit
Great choice of food from the over counter chalk board including vegan versions of most items available. Lovely drinks with hemp and soya options. Complete with small grocery shop.
The large veganified breakfast was hot, tasty and filling, complemented nicely with a hemp latte.
The mushroom and lentil burger got a big thumbs up too!
Great to see great wholesome food being served in Bolton! There's plenty of desserts too if you still have space to fill.
Check it out! :-)
Pros: Plenty of vegan options , Gluten free customisations , Lovely staff
