Good brunch spot

Nice vegan breakfast with falafels, humous, side salad, wedges and a few more bits that I can’t remember. It’s really nice though and only around 10euro👍🏽

Pros: Nice setting

Tasty

There are at least 2 locations in Galway. We ate at the one in the Jury's hotel and there is another one in the Galway City Museum. Our server was very sweet and attentive. There weren't as many vegan options as I had hoped but they were clearly marked on the menu (V), as were vegetarian options (VG). The sweet chili stir fry was a little too saucy for my taste but the side order of broccoli was delicious and my husband enjoyed his veggie wrap and vegetable soup.

The tofu!!

Came in for the vegan fry, sweet jeebus, the tofu and the refried beans were ridiculous! I like a big irish fry and this didn't disappoint even though its different to the usual style, great for those who don't want a bunch of mock meats. Definitely coming back again! Coffee is ace too

Pros: Great vegan options!

Cons: Could be a little bigger portions.

Great Breakfast

This place was very vegan friendly. I had the vegan fry and it was very tasty. They also had both soy and almond milk for coffee. Everything is clearly marked on the menu as vegan and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also have vegan cakes. We came on a crowded Saturday and only had to wait about five minutes.

Pros: delicious food, great service

Happy place for vegetarians/vegans

In The Kitchen, everything is made with love, and the result it's a lovely meal!
To start with coffees or teas it offers not only soy milk (organic) but also coconut, almond and oat milk.
Then has options for vegetarians and for vegans and you can customize a vegetarian into a vegan plate.
Also offers gluten free options and the options are identified as V - vegetarian VG- vegan CFO - celiac friendly option.
And to finalize the desserts couldn't be better, from Vegan Chia and Lemon Muffins to Amazeballs, Vegan chocolate cake and so on. More options during the weekends.
It is family friendly and famous for the weekend All day Brunch

Pros: Tasty food, Big portions, Friendly staff

Cons: Serves meat

Finally, a place that has soy milk!

As someone who does not like to drink their coffee black, I struggle in Ireland to find a coffee shop that carries non-dairy milk. Thank God The Kitchen figured out there was a demand and decided to fill it. When I got into Galway I had several Irish friends tell me they wanted to bring me here to eat as there isn't a lot of vegan options in the area. The food was solid and cheap but I was mostly excited about getting soy milk in a place that wasn't Starbucks. Can't wait to go back and try more food the next time I'm in town.

Pros: Nondairy Milk!, vegan options, inexpensive

Cons: serves meat
