Probably best cafe choice in town for those on a plant based diet - Edit
We regularly go to the cafe in Marlows which is a Home and Garden Centre situated in the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. The cafe was completely refitted about a year ago and the menu was substantially upgraded. It is probably the best cafe in Bury St Edmunds for anyone following a plant based diet. As far as I can see most of the cakes on display at the counter are diary and egg free. There is usually a good choice of plant based main dishes both on the menu and usually at least one on the “board”.
Read moreThe staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Don’t be put off by the location which is about a 20 minute walk from town or the fact that it is situated in a home and garden centre (which itself is fairly good). I reckon, if this cafe was situated in town it would be even more popular
Pros: Lots of diary/egg free cakes, Relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Hidden gem on outskirts of town
