Room for improvement

Soup starter was ok, but the main course was a total disappointment. Taglieteli with asparagus, Brocolli, baby spinach and mint and basil pesto - only 1 of the 2 we ordered had Brocolli in it, the one that did also had the hard part of the stalk that should have been discarded as it was too tough to eat, neither had spinach, the taglieteli was unseasoned and tasted like plain pasta with nothing on it, and 1 of the dishes had the pasta still swimming in water. Appreciate the attempt to provide a vegan menu but perhaps better to concentrate on a few good dishes than a larger and mediocre offering? Time to get back to basics and do those well

Vegan menu

The kings head now has a great vegan menu offering lots of options. I particularly like the curry, the veg tart is also great but could do with some chips or veg on the side included. Puddings are really good
