A decent local; improvements in service & vegan options needed

It's our local, and it's a nice establishment. Variety of drinks, nice inside and outside areas.
But not worth the money you pay for food. The vegan options anyways.
As the menu changes frequently with the seasons, we've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and try food on different occasions. But its the same opinions each time.

You pay the same for the vegan Sunday roast as the veggie roast, however they just remove half of the items such as the Yorkshire pudding and mash, and don't replace it with more of the other veg, so the plate is just left looking half empty.
The staff don't understand that the menu states its a vegan roast, so when ordering the vegan roast they are confused.
Extra vegetables are at an additonal cost, and they're called "buttered greens" despite being marked as vegan on the menu. And the butter isn't vegan according to the staff, so you have to request Greens without the butter.

As for the pub menu, again they don't seem to understand that they're menu lists the items as vegan despite the dishes often not actually being vegan.
Ordered a vegan burger, as stated as vegan on the menu, and it was served with non vegan coleslaw instead of the 'dressed salad' the menu stated.

The food is actually nice, but its just let down by so many different little things.

If you're omni though, there's plenty of options. Also some good veggie options. But the vegan side is really let down.

Pros: Some vegan options, Vegan Sunday roast

Cons: Not value for money, Service needs improvement
