Everything is made in house and so delicious. Vegan soup everyday. Many kombuchas on tap. We will go again.

Unexpected Hidden Vegan Gem

Loved the wide variety of options for plant-based entrees, soups , and salads. All food was delicious and made fresh. Omnivores also enjoyed it. Generous portions. Staff were excellent.
Unique Kombucha bar.

Neat place!

A few vegan options, all freshly made with organic ingredients. Burger, slaw, and cake were super tasty and fresh. Everyone working in the store and restaurant were friendly, everything was clean. Really good experience here, can’t wait to come back.
Side note: they have a salt room, massage chairs, and a lot of vegan options in the market area as well! Can’t wait to come back and shop a little bit.

Pros: Tasty , Fresh

Cons: Expensive but worth it

Raw Vegan Curry Bowl is lit

Flavorful and spiced very well. Their lentil soup which was the vegan option of the day was a great protein hit. Their dessert menu is next level but was too stuffed to try.

Pros: Delicious vegan options, Dessert menu entirely vegan

😋 Walnut Burger

So I was suspect of the Walnut Burger because it looked somewhat dry in the images. It’s is 💯 not dry. It is moist and has a tasty texture. I ate the whole thing with a side of Carrot Slaw.

Pros: Quality vegan options, Amazing staff

Cons: Quality requires time

Lunch stop

Nice little restaurant with an attached small organic store. We received a soup stated that was yummy lentil soup. We were joined by our omni friends. We shared the walnut burger and avocado toast. Both were very good. I would definitely come back for the toast, and add a little red pepper to it.

Pros: Good options, Nice parking, Friendly staff

Raw vegan 🌱

After so many years of coming to Melbourne/cocoa, I was surprised never to have seen this place. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Their market is well stocked with top quality items like glaser organic farm ice cream, nut butters and snacks. The restaurant was great too. We had the stuffed avocado, raw vegan sushi, vegan walnut burger and they made my son vegan tacos with their walnut meat which was delicious. To finish we had the carrot cake and it was perfect! Very happy to find another place with quality raw vegan food.

Pros: Nice clean new space , All organic , Vegan and raw vegan options!

Cons: Pricey

Nice grocery/restaurant

I went in to check out the store and ended up ordering soup to go. The store has organic products - some fresh items too. They have a really nice line of essential oils. Elaine was there running the store. The essential oils are her brand. She was very nice and knowledgeable.
The restaurant is not 100% vegan but they did have some vegan options. I ordered their lentil soup to go. It was good.

Super Not Vegan

No more vegan options than average conventional restaurant in this area. Many animal products throughout the store. We would love to be able to support this place, and we hope they make a change

Pros: No lines, Always parking

Cons: Lots of animal products

Very Good

I had the lentil soup (very good), the eggplant sandwich with avocado ( good but a touch oily), garbanzo bean salad (very good) and a piece of raw chocolate coconut cake (very good). Service is great (our waitress was vegan) and atmosphere is very laid back. Recommend giving it a try, glad we went.

good food, not a lot of options for lunch

Fantastic vegan eggplant sandwich for lunch with the chocolate cake for dessert (more like pudding though being raw). They also had a vegan key lime pie as well as the carrot cake.

Pros: good food, vegan desserts

Cons: not many other lunch options

Raw. Vegan. Chocolate.

I went into the jungle with the serious chocolate fit. They had not one but two vegan desserts! One was a carrot cake (snoooooze) but the other was a chocolate cheez cake...WIN! This place is a bit pricey with limited options for vegans...but....CHOCOLATE!!!

Cons: price

Great service

We had a fantastic time despite my many food intolerances. The very kind waitress took my list of foods, asked questions, went to the kitchen and came back with a couple entre choices. I really appreciated that as often people get frustrated with my SIBO list since I am also a vegetarian (former vegan).

We enjoyed our food and our refills. Wish we lied nearby but we were on vacation. The food was appropriately priced for organic and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

Cons: Serve carnivores, Played some country music

Good Food but Over Priced

We were looking for an organic cafe and happened into The Jungle. The small cafe looked inviting. We went for lunch and were seated quickly. They brought out samples of soup and we chose one. It was a little salty but still tasty. We ordered sandwiches. The pictures on the menu and descriptions mislead because they are written in such a way that the sandwich will be large and filling. These were small and like a regular home made on very small bread. The price did not reflect the size. Way over priced for what we got. The taste was okay. I will not be back to The Jungle for lunch or dinner. I will however shop in their store for organic goods.

Cons: Price, Portion size

Everything is Excellent!

The only thing this place needs is its own chunk of real estate, I would be willing to bet many people have driven by this place without seeing the sign let alone what lies behind it's drab facade. They did a marvelous job decorating the inside. After entering, the name Jungle begins to make sense, not overbearing though. No loud animal noises either, only the sounds of the waterfall and the playing of nice music. The Staff was great, our server was great, and the place has a small grocery store adjacent to it where they sell micro beer and quite a selection of wine. This place had a lot of time and effort put into it and I wish them the best.

Pros: Everything

Cons: easy to miss.

Cute Little Resturant!

What a nice resturant in a small seaside town! Although they didn't have vegan options on the menu, as soon as I said I was vegan the waiter quickly pointed out how a few of the dishes could be modified.

I had the bean burrito without the cheese. The ingredients tasted really fresh and the menu said that everything was organic, which is always a plus.

The resturant is part of a nice little health food store where you can find many things to take home. I enjoyed a soy "ice cream" after my meal.

The atmosphere was very cool and relaxing. We sat next to a water fall. I would certainly reccomend a visit if you are in the area.

Pros: Fresh organic food., Very accomadating., Friendly staff.

Cons: No vegan options on menu., Small selection.

Scrumptious Food/Outrageous Prices

First time trying The Jungle, we paid $60 for breakfast (two adults and two young children who had kids meals). Normally, at nearby conventional restaurants, we pay $30-35 for a comparable breakfast. Granted, organic is pricey. And, I would not have minded paying $40-45 for our meal. But, $60 (before tip) was outrageous.

That said, the food was nothing short of amazing! They do need more vegan options.

Pros: Amazing food, Very themed decor

Cons: Price! Price! Price!, Not many vegan choices

Soups, Salads, and service

since the recent menu changed, that is about all this vegan goes to the jungle to get. You can almost daily count on a vegan soup, and if its not everyday its at least 4 days a week. Salads are always great choices too for the vegan customer...Its a great place, local, easy to get to! Keep up the good work! If you havent seen it, check the place out!

Pros: great staff, tasty food

Cons: pricey, not many vegan choices
