Great vegan pub food - Edit
Nice pub, with variety of indoor and outdoor seating; huge menu with a substantial separate vegan section. We can recommend the Tex-Mex salad (avocado, sweet potato, sweet corn, beans...) vegan pizza and dough balls as well as Mushroom Wellington and the veggie burger. Menu features a vegan milkshake. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Over booked and bad food - Edit
Unfortunately the vegan food here was mediocre at best. I had the mushroom Wellington and both that and the potatoes were burnt, the seasonal vegetables were completely overcooked, overall it was inedible. My mother and husband had the vegan katsu curry they both said it was ok but not great.
Read moreIn all fairness the vegan milkshake was nice and the staff pleasant. And they reduce the bill for my dinner.
Overall I would not return and still feel even with reduced price it was expensive for what we had.

Read moreAs we visited on Sunday I had the Vegan Nut Roast carvery-the nut roast itself was delicious & came with vegan gravy. I went up to the carvery to choose my veggies- today on offer was broccoli, swede mash,parsnips, cabbage,carrots & roast potatoes.
Pudding was biscoff cheesecake with vanilla ice cream
