Possibly a better menu during the day - Edit
The menu changes around 4pm or 5pm. We had the vegan meze platter which would be a bit weird if you were on a first date! Really tasty though, lovely flatbread, hummus, sweet beetroot in particular and aubergine great. Felt like a light meal however! Very nice staff. No longer appears to be a bike shop as another reviewer said although they were getting ready for a DJ set (a Saturday) and quite a few tables were reserved for later. Would eat here again but during the day. A very simple menu- what they do they do really well but would have liked more choices or a special even.

The overall vibe of the place is great! I wish there was a larger menu because everything I tried was amazing there just wasn’t enough to pick from.

We had a Goan curry with vegan red wine. The portions are on the small side but the food is delicious, with really authentic flavours.

Lovely cafe! - Edit
I went to the cafe for just a drink and a cake and I loved it! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the decor inside was indie and comfortable. The hot chocolate I had (offered with the expected range of milks) was delicious, as was the banana loaf- which the staff kindly offered to toast. A lovely place in the city centre, that I will return to! The fact that the cafe is dog friendly is an extra bonus!

Superb vegan friendly cafe - Edit
A great cafe in central Newcastle. The avocado toast with three extra toppings is lush. “Daal of the Day” is usually delicious too.

Great coffee - Edit
Nice veggie cafe in an excellent location of Newcastle. Very friendly and welcoming, even for four legged friends. There was a lovely aroma of fresh baked goods on our visit and the banana bread we sampled was delicious. I think this will now be our no.1 coffee stop in the city, particularly as a previous favourite veggie coffee shop has unfortunately started to sell meat.

Don’t Stop Believing - Edit
Bicycle repair shop on one half and gorgeous veggie cafe on the other. Absolutely lovely place. The freshly baked vegan banana bread with maple syrup is just meltingly outstanding. Fantastic coffee, nice and bitter. Hugely vegan aware, staff are totally on the ball. I wish I’d visited sooner.

My Favorite Coffee Shop in Newcastle - Edit
This cafe is close to Northumbria’s campus and is the perfect place to study, or just relax and have a nice cup of coffee. Serve both almond and oat milk as well as a couple vegan menu options!

Wheelie good food - Edit
We visited recently for a light lunch and ordered the super food chilli and Vietnamese noodle salad. The chilli was very hearty with a coriander garnish and a nice hint of cinnamon coming through, whilst the toasted sour dough was excellent. The Vietnamese noodle salad dish was also delicious and I loved the fresh ginger and cashew nut flavours and textures, although it was quite a small portion size. I also ordered the tea of the day, which on this occasion was a very refreshing orange blossom oolong tea. One issue to mention is accessibility, as there are a few steps to enter the cafe. We had a pram with us on our visit so this was a problem but luckily there was lots of outside seating available. Staff are lovely and we will back to try more of the menu, as it changes regularly.
