Sample vegan item might be mushroom and cashew nut pasty with olive oil mash and onion gravy, Vietnamese rice noodle broth, or butternut squash tagine and sweet potato chilli. The owner/chef is around to discuss menu options. Open Wed-Sat 12:00pm-8:00pm, Sun 12:00pm-5:00pm.

Lovely vegan food and beer - Edit
Lovely bar / restaurant by the sea in wonderful Hastings. Despite not being a fully vegan or veggie place, they were familiar with veganism and there were three or four options. Several of the wines and beers were vegan. Enjoyed a squash and chickpea curry with a local beer, very good. Can't remember the exact price but the main meals were under a tenner. Used to be a pie and mash shop, hoping they will offer vegan pie and mash!
Pros: several vegan options including beer, friendly and cosy, staff welcoming to vegans
