Pleasant Surprise

Vegan and vegetarian options are scarce in Campbell River. I went to Java Shack looking just for coffee, but ended up with a McLovin hearty salad too. The McLovin is excellent: filling, tasty, and healthful component mix. We're visiting Campbell River for only four days, but I hope to get back to this place for another McLovin or maybe one of the other plant-based items on the menu.

Pros: My dish--McLovin salad--was excellent, Get takeout--ocean & mtn view from nearby park, Chef delivers meals to tables--I like that

Cons: If McDonalds learns of McLovin, "cease & desist"
