Limited options - Edit
There is a vegetarian vegan menu of which all the mains (4) are vegan but they are nothing exciting. An aubergine bake, rendang curry and a burger. Can’t remember the other option.
Read moreOn the festive menu there was only 2 starters that were vegan both of which were salads, and 3 vegan desserts which were all sorbet.
I had the curry with broccoli to start, as I have a nut allergy and the two vegan starters had nuts in. I skipped dessert as I don’t like sorbet.
The food was fine but for £19 for a rendang curry I’d have rather gotten it for cheaper from a Thai restaurant.
Also it wasn’t fun going for a festive meal with everyone having a Christmas dinner type meal and having no vegan option of this.
If you’re invited here it is fine and you can eat. But I’d never choose The Ivy as a vegan because the options are lackluster and extremely expensive. Spend your money elsewhere.
