Were refused the vegan breakfast

We went down for breakfast at 9.20am and ordered the vegan breakfast. We were then told it’s too late to order the vegan breakfast, even though the breakfast times were between 7-10am. They said we could still order the meat breakfast or the salmon, or kippers breakfast (which obviously we didn’t since we don’t eat meat or fish). It was odd. Needs improvement!!!
