Beautiful B&B- plant based breakfast w/notice - Edit

We just returned from a 2 night stay at The Iris Inn. With advanced noticed we had a nice variety of plant based breakfast options- tofu scramble w/veggies, diced potatoes w/veggies, fresh fruit, juice, oatmeal, almond milk, toast.
The B&B has rooms in the main building, cabins and cottages. We stayed in the main building in a lovely room and spoke with a couple who were staying in a cabin and they said the cabins were very contemporary and beautiful. The Inn has a wonderful upstairs common room and deck that with views overlooking the mountains. Our room was on the back of the inn looking out onto the woods. The staff at the B&B were just wonderful- very helpful on all accounts. Wine, cheese, crackers and fruit are served every evening. There is also fruit, cookies (not plant based), tea and coffee always available. The B&B is located in an area with a wide variety of activities to keep you busy- historical sites, hiking, caverns, antiques, shops of all kinds breweries, wineries etc. We were able to locate restaurants w/plant based options. That along with the food we kept in the small refrigerator in our room and access to microwave in the kitchen enabled us to eat a plant based diet during our vacation. for those not following a plant based diet, you can order from the breakfast menu each day. Remember, if you are going to stay at The Iris Inn to give them advance noticed so they can make sure they will have breakfast food you can eat. We can't wait to return to The Iris Inn. It was a wonderful place to stay on all accounts!

Pros: location, accommodations & food, staff
