Nice Sunday roast - Edit
Vegan roast or a burger option on the Sunday menu. Having previously been non vegan, I would say the Yorkshire's were not Yorkshire's, but fine. The actual roast part was good a butternut squash based mix, a bit too much cabbage and lacking in other areas (4 sticks of carrots). I would t say worth the £22 but nice to have the option.

Ordered a take away during lock down as is read about their vegan Simplicity Burger made from fermented vegetables... Interesting, I thought. Well, OMG, it was almost a spiritual experience... It is by a country mile the best tasting burger I have EVER had. A customer who was waiting for his own simplicity burger (and is a mear eater) told me the burger is only sold there and in a Gordon Ramsey restaurant in claridges. It took all my inner strength not to order another one the next day for breakfast. Several other vegan options available. Their Sunday roast is raved about. But the burger, wow. Makes you believe in miracles 😂

I have been here on a few occasions and the food is lovely. The staff are so helpful and the atmosphere is great. There is always a good choice for vegans and they even do amazing chocolate brownies. Can’t wait for it to reopen . On a Sunday they do a vegan roast which is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

Pub with more formal bistro but you can dine in the pub as well.
Read moreWe went on a Friday night and had the best vegan burger. Portions are generous and there were 2 options on each section of the menu. The owners were happy to point us in the direction of the vegan wine selections as well.
The pub also has vegan Sunday lunch options that we will be heading back to try out soon.

Good option given local alternatives - Edit
Stopped in because there were no other vegan options nearby, and was pleasantly surprised by the vegan menu - had the vegan burger, a little on the pricey side but delicious. And a nice pub in general. Worth a look in if you're nearby.
