Relaxed atmosphere, nice staff and several vegan options - Edit
This is a nice place for having some lunch or a coffee. There are several vegan dishes on the menu. You can also get oatmilk with your coffee with no extra costs. The place was a bit crowded and I had to wait a few minutes before having a seat. The staff was super friendly. Recommended!

Nice lunch in a busy location - Edit
We have been there for a late lunch and had to queue for a short while. There have been a few options (Vegan Fish Finger Sandwich and Potato Cakes) which have been good and filled quite good together with the hand cut chips.

Quality, imaginative vegan fish & chips - Edit
What a great find! Loved this cafe/chippy which had such a friendly vibe and really tasty battered tofu, realchips, katsu mushroom burger, tartare sauce and more. It’s not a vegan place but their options are genuine and properly thought through. No vegan desserts but do ask as they rustled up a delicious sundae for us. Great local beer on tap too.

Lunch - Edit
A lovely little cafe with a really chill creative vibe, prints for sale and quiet music. The food was ace very well presented with a few vegan options. We had tofish and chips and lentil and potato cakes with pesto and broccoli. Both were beautifully presented and really tasty!

Crowded Restaurant - Edit
A Restaurant with crowded inside space, two tables outside.
Read moreThere are around 5 vegan options which taste delicious, we did not have to wait long although many people had ordered. The waiters were nice, the cashier was quite stressed and for this reason a bit rude.
All in all a nice place to have lunch

We also took a walnut coffee cake and a Biscoff cupcake for take-away, that were both delicious!

Yummy lunch - Edit
This café like restaurant is the perfect stop after hiking the North on Skye. We had Quesadillas, most amazing chai latte, iced coffee and some cupcakes - which were very very sweet, as everything in the UK so be careful.

Between us we had the vegan haggis enchiladas, potato and onion hotcakes, the vegan toasted sandwich and some patatas bravas
Everything was delicious with big portions.

Tasty - Edit
The Hungry Gull is takeaway only at the moment due to Covid. An up to date menu can be found on their Facebook page and it's best to call ahead with your order. Took about 10 minutes for them to make our food, and we just followed the Drive Thru signs and picked up from the back door.
Read moreWe had tofu and chips which was delicious, and the vegan tartare sauce was lovely, I would have added some mushy peas if I'd had the choice to, which would have been a nice addition.
Proprietor recommended we drive down the road to the beach front to eat, which we was a great idea and much appreciated.
They also had a vegan haggis option with an Indian slant to it which we definitely would have gone for if we'd not already had haggis for breakfast and dinner.
Pros: Couple of options

Yummy place with a few vegan options - Edit
Currently only doing takeaway but I think they usually have sit in seats as well, there were some picnic benches nearby that we sat at. We just had the salt and chilli chips which were really good! But they also had to-fish (tofu) and vegan haggis balls on the menu that sounded very nice! They also had a food truck in Staffin as well😄
