Had brownie ( she had three kinds available), oatmeal spice cookie, chocolate chip cookie and apple muffin. All were amazing and fresh! So excited to have found this bakery. Only opened Thursday through Sunday though. Wonderful customer service.
A lovely bakery. Gorgeous and tasty pastries and savory scones. Fabulous coffee. Two small tables outside to enjoy your food! Several vegan options. Try their vegan brownies and you will experience a small piece of heaven. I mean it.
I was really looking forward to visiting Humble Bee when I visited WS for the holidays. I moved away a few years ago, but in the last year had seen many of my friends raving on FB about this new bakery. I met one of my friends there about 30 mins before Humble Bee closed on Christmas Eve. They were, as I expected, sold out of a lot of items, but the muffins and cookies I purchased were thoroughly enjoyed by my family during the holidays. Absolutely delicious! This is enough for a 5 star review, but what happened next is the kind of customer service that elevates a business from great to exceptional - a place I will go out of my way to recommend to others and visit any time I am back in WS. I had left my credit card in the shop. I didn't even notice until my friend I visited the Humble Bee with texted me that the owner had texted him to say I had left it. This is a credit card I have tied to most of my bills for automatic payment, and I didn't really want to have to cancel it over the holidays and log into a dozen accounts (power, gas, mobile, insurance, waste mgmt, etc etc etc) to change the auto pay method to another card. In the big picture, that's not a big deal, but it was just one more thing during already hectic holiday travel. I texted my friend to ask if the owner of the Humble Bee would by chance be willing to mail it to me (I currently live in Atlanta). My friend asked the owner and responded yes. I apologized profusely to my friend (who I hope relayed this to the owner), but I also greatly appreciate it. I texted my friend my address. That was the 24th. On the 29th I received a card in the mail that contained my credit card and the owner wrote, "It was lovely to meet you! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!" Y'ALL - not only is the Humble Bee's product absolutely to die for delicious, this is some seriously amazing, next-level customer service!!
Due to not living in the area, I sadly cannot become a regular at Humble Bee, but my parents and extended family members have been told this story and all are looking forward to visiting this fantastic business soon. Thank you!!
Treats as sweet as the woman who makes them - Edit
Brittany is nothing short of kind, warm and it shows in her baking. From gluten free products, to vegan options for those who need it. It never fails to amaze me how incredibly well thought out her baked goods are. Her heart and soul is poured into her shoppe and I commend her immensely for it! 12/10 would buy everything in her place.
This place is relatively new, but it should be your vegan destination for sweets in the Triad.
The options are rotated often and everything vegan I've had is delicious.
I recommend trying the chocolate pumpkin muffins, the salted choc chip cookies, and the black bean brownies.
Also, they will make a fantastic vegan cake to order. We had one for that silly holiday in the month of November, and it totally exceeded our expectations

Amazing bakery; delicious vegan cookies, empanadas, pies, muffins, cupcakes, etc. It’s a small batch bakery so the offerings change regularly.
