188 Sturt St, Adelaide, South Australia, 5000

A cozy vegetarian cafe with a lovely courtyard and a little florist studio in the middle. Almost everything is cooked and prepared in-house, including many vegan options. Food is made fresh daily and served until it runs out. Produce is locally sourced and most of the waste and water is recycled. Open for breakfast and lunch. Holds art exhibitions. Large group bookings can be made and also can be hired for events. PER COW AMBASSADOR SHUT OCT 2014.

My favorite place to eat - Edit

This is honestly my favorite restaurant! They have lots of vegan and gluten free options and are knowledgeable on nutrition so you will always get a balanced meal. The servings are huge and the prices are decent. The staff are also really nice and friendly.
This is a must for breakfast or lunch! (scrambled tofu is amazing!)

Pros: Serving size and price, Taste, Staff

Beautiful food, lovely space - Edit

House of Donkey has a great selection of tasty vegan and vegetarian breakfasts and lunches. Everything I've eaten here has been beautiful. They also have a tempting selection of vegan (and non-vegan) cakes to compliment their Adelaide Hills roasted coffee. The vegan maple nut sweet potato pie is phenomenal!

Pros: City location , Reasonable prices, Casual environment
