They do not allow you to access this place unless you are hotel guest or buy some hotel day-pass. Sucks

Should be 5 stars :)

Agree with other reviewers, a large business like this with a 100% vegan menu should qualify for 5 stars even though guests can get animal foods upon special request.

The luxury all-inclusive hotel is completely plant based, amenities are labeled vegan. It features 6 restaurants which all have completely vegan menus. 4 of those will serve meat or dairy if specifically asked for by guests.

Fantastic experience, can’t wait to go back. Feel very pampered and also connected to nature.

Epic experience! When can we go back!?

This place is a paradise for vegans. Not only is the menu plant based (over 5 restaurants, beach/pool menu, taco truck, in-suite dinning, and bars) but the entire resort is vegan (soaps, surfaces, etc). To top that the food is all scratch made and some of the best, if not the best vegan food I’ve had in the world. They do some fantastic things making plant based fish substitutes like a watermelon poke, a smoked papaya as lox, and various sashimi from peppers and fruits. They also made a carrot based egg yolk that was so good and popped just like yolks I remembered in my non vegan days. There are so many choices on all the menus that it would be quite an undertaking to try everything (even during our 5 night stay), especially when there are things that are so good that you want to get them more than once. Did I mention the drinks? Their mixology menu had so many delicious cocktails that were offered without alcohol (they didn’t push the alcohol but you had all the top shelf bottles at your disposal if you were interested).

The resort sits on the beach within a jungle and has all the amenities that someone looking for relaxation and rejuvenation would want, especially spirit seekers. They had daily meditation, yoga, exercise, art, and spiritually leaning classes. Numerous beach front cabanas with beds and lounge chairs. The beach was clean as were all the pools. At night there was a bonfire and DJ at one of the beach front bars. Our suite was beautiful and overlooked the ocean. It had numerous healthy vegan goodies waiting for us.

We never felt like there were too many people staying there and it felt like it was almost catered directly towards us. All the staff were so kind and accommodating. They loved our 8 month old and were happy to make different combinations of food that he could eat texture wise. He loved all the food as well. They also have a children’s center that has plenty of toys and loving staff (for 3 potty trained kids). Other patrons spoke about how their kids loved it so much and didn’t want to leave. Babysitting is also available and was really easy to setup and the sitter was so caring and trustworthy. It seemed like literally everything was thought out.

I could go on and on about our experience here but will save you the reading by encouraging you to use all your power to have at least some time here to experience Palmaïa: the house of Aïa. You will not regret it.

Pros: All vegan everything , Beautiful grounds , Lovely staff

Amazing! 5-Stars

The House of AiA Plamaia is amazing! Got an all-inclusive day pass and was able to enjoy their two restaurants as well as their taco truck.

This should be a 5 STAR review

Happy Cow should reverse their rules about 5 stars for this all inclusive resort. All food is plant based with options to add dairy or seafood for people who specifically request it. I have never met more omnivores who have admitted to trying vegan cuisine because it is the default at this resort.

My wife and I have been vegan for going on 9 years and we have never had a resort experience like AIA offers. My only concern writing this review is that so many people will decide to go that there won’t be room the next time we visit. #Veganuary

5 stars ☆

My husband and I just came home from a two-week stay at Palmaïa and we were absolutely blown away by our experience.
The hotel is plantbased first, so all of the menus in all restaurants are vegan, with options to add meat, fish or eggs. Their menus are incredibly sophisticated and they even offer vegan runny egg yolk, which was insane!
They have four restaurants (su casa - international, LEK - mexican, Ume - japanese/asian, mar de olivo - mediterranean), a healthy café (plantissa) and an all vegan taco truck by the pools. They also offer room service. If you have time, definitely go check out all of the restaurants. We loved all of them.

The hotel is all-inclusive and offers loads of complimentary activities, like yoga and even art classes.

All of the staff was incredibly friendly.
The hotel also provides a guide, whom you can text via WhatsApp if you have questions or want to book a table at one of the restaurants.

I really loved everything about our stay, I really have nothing negative to say. I wish I could give the hotel 5 stars!

Pros: All vegan menus, Incredibly nice and helpful staff, All-inclusive

Cons: Expensive

A must for everyone. A fantastic experience filled with great food and great service. I think the taco truck was our favorite. Wish I could give it 5 stars.

Should have five stars

This place has blown us away. It’s not a restaurant you can just show up at, it’s inside a giant mix use property and is actually an all inclusive resort. I’m not sure if you can go here without staying at the hotel. There are several restaurants and several concepts, and this is the highest level of vegan cuisine you ever find anywhere in the world. Best of all, the food is not processed but made with the freshest ingredients. The kitchen is a little slow, but when the food comes out you can see the care and the detail that they put into it. We actually leave the dinner table lunch or breakfast table refreshed instead of feeling weighed down like a lot of vegan junk food places. Also, there is very little salt added do the dishes. Do you know how it gets tiring going on vacation and trying to fight your way to the vegan options at the restaurants? Well it’s actually the opposite here. The non-vegan items are offered as options, but the core of the menu is vegan heaven. Just as impressive is the staff in the restaurants and at the property. This is a garden of Eden on the beach ! You will love it !
