I had the raspberry coconut donut and really enjoyed it. Was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan donut by chance. They had at least six different vegan choices when I went in. Would recommend!

We ate here several times- delicious donuts! There were different vegan options each time.

They had vegan options early in the morning (so they must have read other reviews & made changes)
They tend to get busier later in the day.
Customer service was good overall.
I also wish they labeled the vegan donuts.

Went twice and both times they said the vegan doughnuts are not ready … one time was early but the other was a few hours after opening so we went to the other doughnut shop by the water and they had tons of vegan options

Read moreThe donut was pretty good, especially with the coffee. I would try a different one next time though. They had about 5 or 6 different vegan options. I went at 9:30am on a Thursday.

Had about 6 different vegan options, all looked delicious. I got the glazed with sprinkles and boyfriend got peanut butter one. Both very tasty. Pretty pricey though at almost €4 for one but Dublin in general is very expensive!

Non posso dare 5 stelle perché l'app impedisce di darle ai ristoranti o bar non totalmente vegani o vegetariani... Ma non penso di aver mai mangiato un dolce vegano buono quanto il donut che ho mangiato qui!! C'è molta scelta, io ho preso quello glassato, con la marmellata di lamponi... BUONISSIMO, morbido, dolce al punto giusto, super ripieno... Mi trasferirei a O'Connell Street solo per averlo sotto casa e mangiarlo ogni giorno!

Lovely doughnuts but I wish they'd label the vegan flavours rather than having to ask the staff which flavours they have as they don't always have the ones that they have on their website.

Dublin has a reputation for good vegan donuts and The Hot Donut contributes to that well deserved rep. My wife and I shared a banoffee, a ‘Boston Cream’ (aka custard) and a classic strawberry. All delicious and devoured in no time at all!

They have a lot of different vegan donuts to choose from. I tried a chocolate one and it tasted amazing! It was very soft and fluffy and not oily at all. Highly recommend!

The texture of the donut was light, fluffy, and not at all oily. I thought that the donut was not overly sweet, and it really let the filling shine. I will be returning, highly recomend!

At the Hot Donut you have a large variety of vegan donuts and desserts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had two donuts and a eclair, which was so tasty.

Great doughnuts. Really good choice. Many vegan options. Between the two of us, we had a salted caramel and a cappuccino flavour (which was the Doughnut of the Day), plus a couple of coffees.
Read moreOn the face of it, it may seem a bit expensive for "a doughnut", but they are really good quality.
We sat in the outdoor seating at the front of the cafe. It's really busy as it's on the main road, but nice to be able to sit back and people watch.
Also, really good coffee.

Very nice place, great vegan options. We loved the Boston Creme Donut, and the coffee with oat milk. Seating was outside and a bit crowded, and we had to clean the table, but just to take the donuts to go, it would have been perfect.
