Surprised at the amount of vegan options throughout the hotel

We’ve been here for two days and are pleasantly surprised at the options around the hotel. In the cafe: 2 vegan pies, vegan sandwiches, a vegan muffin and plant based milks. In the Snowline Bar a gorgeous vegan grazing platter $45 for 2 people and their Ginger Beer is vegan friendly too. The Alpine Restaurant: had a number of vegan options on the buffet. Very pleasantly surprised.

Went out of their way to help, amazing experience!

Amazing experience. Had buffet dinner and breakfast. My daughter and I are both vegan. Was a little uncertain as not many dishes labelled vegan so asked waitress. She got the chef and he skilfully pointed out what was vegan and then made us extra dishes. It was so delicious. Four desserts were vegan but only one labelled. Breakfast buffet was outstanding but had to ask advice on what was vegan as not all was labelled. My advice would be to ask for help and you will get amazing food!!!!

Pros: Delicious vegan options, Made specific extra dishes for us, Both chefs and pastry chef good knowledge

Cons: Got best experience on asking as lack of labels, Had to ask for child vegan options

EXPENSIVE!

After a few hours hiking, was looking forward to some food. Unfortunately was left hungry after my meal. It was nice, but not enough of it, and not much for the exorbitant price ($55 for dinner and desert)

Pros: Food was nice

Cons: Expensive, Not much food for someone who’s been hiking
