I’m very disappointed at my experience because there was so much hype. We got all the ready to eat options which include a mango pulled “pork” Sandwich, the beer brat, and the spicy sriracha brat. They didn’t cut the giant panini in half so it was nearly impossible to eat and I didn’t like the blend of flavors at all. The beer brat was good but had so much mustard on it that’s literally all I could taste. And the sriracha sauce they used for the other brat was inedible. I enjoyed their deli meats when we had them at other restaurants so I think that might be the way to go.

I had planned to visit my friend who lives in MN, & I was scrolling through vegan options on the plane. I saw the Herbivorous Butcher & about died. I’ve been following them on Instagram for years & didn’t pay much attention to the location because I live in AL. I had a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich eaten in the heat while walking to the liquor store, and then I smashed a bacon, cheeseburger. Not only was the food FABULOUS, it held me over through a night of college debauchery.

Yummy!!! They claim to hand-make 1000 pounds of meat-free meat and cheese-free cheese every week. We bought a sampling of several deli items to take home. Loved them all!! Best vegan cheese I ever had: Dill Havarti. And the vegan Maple Bacon is outstanding!

We had a breakfast sandwich from the butcher shop and had lunch~Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Hamburger Mac n Cheese and greens a different day at their food truck. Everything was so tasty and really hit the spot! Sadly, we didn’t get any of the meats and cheeses from the Shop. Planned to go back, but they’re closed on Mondays. Will DEFINITELY be back and make sure to buy a bunch of things to take back to Chicago with us! Absolutely love that this place is doing so well! A bunch of places we went to eat had their meats as an options, even non veg places. Impressive!!!

So delicious and worth a drive to get there! Everything was amazing and tasted great. Since I traveled from far away I got a land froze much and it tasted great after thawing as well. The sandwiches are also highly recommended with a huge portion and fabulous taste.

I never imagined falling in love with a butcher shop or spending $80 at one but I did 🤦🏼♀️ Legit love this spot. I had the Italian cold cut, and it was so so so amazing. The cheese!! Ugh so good. I also had the Korean rib. It was a lil too sweet for me(I’m more of a spicy kinda girl) by it was still very tasty! I also tried one of each of the jerkys all good. Cajun was my fav flavor but was a lil tough. Im very sad I live in Pittsburgh bc this is just a lil too far away from me😒 #eatingwithshelbie

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating here 3 times on a recent trip to MN. Enjoyed three fantastic sandwiches and some butcher counter goodness. Took the The filet Mignon, smoked Gouda, and Siracha Brats on the plane back to CA. The TSA was concerned by the package but rest assured only plant based meats. Placed a mail order shipment shortly after arriving to CA. Turkey, pastrami, breakfast sausage, pepperoni, cheddar, burgers, mozzarella, pepper havarti were all wonderful. This is the future of plant based food.

Like everyone else, I have nothing but rave reviews for this place. They have the best vegan meats and cheeses I have ever tasted. They also have subs to go if you want to stop for lunch. Their Thankgiving meal is great as well. Just try something, you can't go wrong.
