I’ve never been to Plymouth but really want to go here. Our friends said this place was incredible with innovative and outstanding flavors. Looks and sounds divine. Must try.

Excellent little café!

Came with my mum and girlfriend for a coffee. Had the Maca mocha and it was so amazing. Food and cakes look great, will be back to try! Reasonably priced as well!

Pros: Atmosphere, Pricing

Superb food

This was my first visit. I haven't eaten much kimchi or savoury tofu. But I tried a sourdough toastie with homemade kimchi, tofu & cheeze. What a taste sensation. I loved it. It was beautifully presented, with flowers on the plate, a fresh salad & a little bowl of sweet soy sauce. All washed down with a cucumber, lime & mint kombucha served in a pottery goblet.

Pros: Excellent healthy, tasty, food, Reasonable price, Cosy atmosphere, welcoming staff

Cons: Hard to find if you're not used to Plymouth, If you sit outside, the market can get a bit noisy

Amazing to have a regular spot!

We first had HH wraps up on the Hoe just after covid and then at the Royal William Yard fairs but it’s amazing for them to have a base to work from.

Staff are amazing as alway, prices are good for how good the food, drinks and pastries are. Will be here as often as I am down in Plymouth!

Pros: Customer service is amazing, Great food, Amazing vibe

Welcome home

The heir and genre remind me of Brixton Cycles (a bike shop in Brixton), when asked to elaborate on this, the response was “hippy”. Nuff love

Incredible

My boyf and I visited for the first time today and the food and service was SO, SO good.

My boyf had the toastie (can’t remember the name but the one with tofu, bacon, peanut sauce and chilli mayo) maca hot choc and he said it was the best toastie he’d had in ages and the hot choc was really nice!

The staff were super friendly and accommodating with my fussiness and made me a bacon and cheese bagel with chilli mayo and it also was the best bagel/bacon bap I’ve had in ages! I also had a billionaire slice with decaf tea and oat milk.

We can’t wait to go back!

Pros: Amazing tasting food, Super friendly attentive staff , Accommodating for allergies/intolerances/fussiness

Best food in Plymouth

I was started to become quite jaded with the vegan food scene in Plymouth, having had some disappointing experiences at other vegan establishments. That was until I ate at The Hedgerow Hound. All I can say is, WOW! Their food is absolutely incredible, so many interesting and well thought out flavours. You can tell there is so much passion and love for what they do, plus they clearly know their stuff. If I’m in Plymouth and they’re open, I won’t bother going anywhere else. Make sure it’s top of your list too!

Pros: So flavourful , Run by friendly and genuine people, Substantial portions

Cons: None

Fantastic tasty food

Double-check the location (the happy cow marker was in the wrong place when we visited - we've submitted an Update Request).
Delicious fresh-tasting food. Particularly recommended the Indonesian curry bowl which had so many flavoursome elements and sauces.
Mostly street food / takeaway but has a few tables for eating in. Board games provided too!
Really friendly service and community vibe. Part of a social enterprise.

Pros: All vegan, Community feeling, Friendly

Amazing Indonesian Wrap, great atmosphere

I had a lovely Indonesian wrap dish - it's not often that I find Indonesian food and this was such a treat with the peanut sauce, peanuts and tofu. The restaurant had a lovely friendly atmosphere and the staff took our orders in beforehand and had them all ready for us after doing some vegan activism with Anonymous for Voiceless in Plymouth. It was such a great time to finish our evening with some delicious food and good conversation.

What a gem this place is

I came across this place a few weeks ago while visiting a friend in Plymouth and we have been talking about how good the food is ever since, so today I came back into Plymouth just to try their Yorkshire pudding wrap and OMG it was so worth the drive. I can not recommend this place enough, the staff are lovely, the place was very clean and we where made to feel welcome.

Pros: Amazing tasting food
