Tucked away on a side street, a sizable store with a good range of products, with many vegan items. Packaged, canned, chilled, household. Chocolate and snack bars, Love Raw treats, Nakd bars. (Not fresh produce.) Pleasant staff.

All The Healthy Vegan Essentials - Edit
I was so happy to find this store because it had a wide variety of organic dried, canned, and refrigerated food. I found oatmeal, dried fruits, many types of grains, beans and lentils (both canned and dried), nutritional yeast, spices, tofu and vegan lunch meat, environmental friendly cleaning and personal supplies, supplements—and the list goes on! This place had everything an organic vegan needs except for fresh produce. Plus the staff was friendly on all of my visits and helped me find items when I was in a hurry on one visit.

Nice little health food shop in downtown Inverness. They have a variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options (both dry food and refrigerated.) They also carry vitamin supplements and beauty products. Highly recommend stopping in to grab some treats.

I had previously walked right past the Health Shop and only recently went it. Highly regret not doing so sooner. They have a HUGE range of products to fit all different diets and tatses. Very friendly staff.

If I lived in Inverness I'd probably spend too much of my wages in here. They have a great selection of snacks and dairyfree and meatfree foods, and dairyfree cheezes I haven't seen before. They have the rice cheese brand which La Favourita and Zizzis use but in three different flavours. I bought some matcha as it was slightly better value than the one I bought for the first time recently in Glasgow. It's a good size with lots of room to move around. We bought a few travel snacks from budget stores in the town, but as I tend to find with health food shops in general, it was ace for picking up a couple of things hard to find elsewhere.

The Health Shop was essentially the first health food/product store that I have been to in Europe. Knowing what constitutes a good one in North Amercia should - or just about - hold true for this continent as well.
Read moreThe Health Shop excels at customer service. There were about 5 staff members working when I was there; all friendly and knowledgable, willing to help customers with any trouble or inquiry.
It carried a wide variety of nuts, legumes, teas and health/hygene products. Prices were good and there were many items on sale. The one thing which I did not find was bread, but, hey, you can pick up a good organic loaf many places.
The one thing that I found here - and may have made me unconsciously shreik with delight - was bamboo socks! Can't wait to try them!
