Limited options, served cheese

I assume the menu has been changed since the original description on HappyCow, as there were very limited options. The paper menu listed two vegan burgers but we were told both were out of stock. The staff were very polite but had no knowledge of vegan requirements. We managed to find that they had all the components of a vegan burger, and they were happy to make one. It was a beyond patty, a bun, a slice of tomato and lettuce. Despite specifying multiple times I did not eat cheese, the burger still came with Halloumi fries. The waiting staff were then puzzled that I didn't have an allergy but still didn't want cheese. It was better than nothing after a long walk and their effort was appreciated, but a real shame they're advertising products they admitted they haven't stocked for ages!
