Limited and a bit misleading

The quality of the vegan curry was brilliant, but there weren’t a ton of options. More importantly, the vegan option comes with a side of Parmesan truffle fries advertised as vegan. Really poor given multiple requests for our meal to be vegan.

Pros: Quality of food

Cons: Limited options , Non-vegan food labelled as vegan

Haslems lane

Sitting approximately where the old swimming pool used to be, shout out to everyone who remembers that, Haslem is a boutique hotel that has an extensive restaurant on its ground floor.
I remember seeing Tommy Tiernan in the island civic centre. He asked the audience what Lisburn was like to live in, as a "city". Audience member claimed Lisburn was no good as "it doesn't even have a hotel", to which Tommy replied "that's like living next to the ocean and complaining there's no swimming pool"! Fair enough, but now we have 2, of which this is the best. The group behind this own little wing, across the square and the lark directly opposite which is a bar and chicken restaurant.
Food is chef-fy stuff that is respectably priced, have seen one balding fat daddi literally let his jaw go slack at the audacity of them charging £15 for a main course.
As for the veg option, I had the nut roast which was honestly beautiful. Very nice indeed, the gravy was delicious. Went back for the breakfast - basically halloumi and fried bread which did have nice aesthetic grill marks on it but tasted burned at edges and was only OK, but may have been a bad day.
Summary then: the food options not extensive for veggies but very well done and certainly worth your time, should you want a more ample meal.

A Lisburn highlight for vegans and non vegans alike

Relaxed and surprisingly good meal, in a calm and quiet environment.

Pros: A few vegan options in a small menu, Friendly staff

Cons: Slightly bare environment
