Tasty Sausage and Chips - Edit
Gravy, curry sauce, chips and battered sausage. All great. Labelled, cooked separate and reasonable pricing. We added extra sausage so had 2 but price for 1 and chips very reasonable.

People working here were really friendly, I ordered the vegan battered sausage and chips with curry sauce. It all tasted great but felt hard done by with the size of the sausage. I would go back but would order something different

There was several options on the menu. But could be more. IE They don’t have a vegan fish option. (Easy to make).
Read moreAlso Bread and vegan butter would be nice, and please put sauce on the burger, vegan mayo sauce at least or vegan butter. Burger was tasty very good size and thick. It only had a tiny bit of lettuce but it really needed sauce. Loved the chips. Good sized meal for 1 person thanks.

Cons: Hardly any lettuce on bun, I got a sprinkling! , Strange tasting curry sauce , No sauce on burger or bun. Was tasty but a bit dry

Read moreSome chip shops do still cook in beef dripping as they tradionally did but Harbour chippy uses oil and they have a separate frier.
The vegan menu has a good few options on it. I chose the battered sausage and chips with a pea fritter. Never had a pea fritter before but it was good.
They don't have any tables inside so we took our chips towards the beach. If you don't mind being watched by gulls while you eat then I would recommend doing the same!

This shop clearly marks outside and in that they have vegan options, use a separate fryer and fries in vegetable oil.

We found the Harbour Chippy via this app, the guy who served me was bang on with our order and chilled. I wanted vegan sausage and chips and my other half has a gluten Intolerance, I aksed questions about vegan curry sauce which was spot on. The fella also said we do a gluten free vinegar for if required 👍.

Had an amazing vegan battered sausage, was quite small but with the chip portion I was full at the end! Good amounts of salt and vinegar too and friendly service! Would give 5* if I could!

Really good find, well labelled and great options. Battered sausage and sauces were the highlight. Great to have a chip shop the uses vegan friendly ingredients. Only issue is it closes over the winter, and there isn't another vegan chippy for miles.

Separate vegan menu and even separate area in the counter for vegan food. We had the goujons and chips and pea fritters and chips, really nice and not soggy. Only thing missing is banana blossom or tofish, then my rating would be higher.
