Poor Quality & Poor Vegan Options.

Yr Harbwr is a Table Table restaurant and is located on the picturesque Doc Fictoria in Caernarfon. The menu can be found online, and vegan options are labelled.

I was surprised to see how few vegan options there were on the menu, as I remember table table restaurants generally having more for vegans. The vegan options during my visit were:
- Falafel & Hommous
- Thai Green Vegetable Curry
- Vegan Cobb Salad
- The Vegan Burger
- Fruit Salad
- Lemon & Raspberry Semifreddo
- Vegan Roast (Sundays Only)

I went for the falafel & homous as it was the only vegan starter, the burger with this isnt vegan bacon added as an extra, and the semifreddo as they were out of the vegan chocolate fudge cake. The starter came out without the homous, and it wasn't a very nice dish. The falafels looked as if they hadn't even been fried. The chips that came with the main also could have done with a longer in the fryer, and the burger was messily assembled and hard to eat. The semifreddo was okay.

Yr Harbwr seems to have gone downhill compared to when I last visited a few years ago, and the chain itself seems to have fewer vegan dishes on their menus. The staff were great, but there were only two of them on during a school half term. I don't personally recommend this spot for vegans, but if you enjoy this restaurant chain or want to eat somewhere with labelled vegan options, then you very well may want to dine here

Pros: Labelled Vegan Options, Good Staff

Cons: Not Enough Vegan Options, The Food Is Not Nice, The Eating Area Is Looking Scuffy

Good vegan burger

We all enjoyed the vegan burger that was served with skin on fries and coleslaw.
Also serves 0% alcohol beer alikes like Guinness zero and Heineken zero.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Facilities good, clean, comfortable.

Pros: Quiet and friendly, Near town, Nice views out across the harbour

Cons: Bottom of accessible toilet door stuck on floor

Always reliable

Had broccoli soup and a coffee (they serve Costa). Prompt, friendly service, good value for money, and they don't mind if you only want a starter. This seems to be the only sit-down place for a vegan meal in Caernarfon at present

Pros: Good for a solo meal or with others, Several vegan dishes available, Special offers available if you sign up online
