Awesome vegan option in the airport

I had food here 3 times in the past. I have tried the porridge for breakfast, mixture of salads another time and the vegan sub another time, also tried the bounty bar and a coffee. Each time food was yum and the service great, cannot fault it and love having good vegan options in the airport!

Pros: Lots of choices 🤗

Cons: None

Not Bad

I ate here before a flight (pre-Covid). It's nice know you're definitely able to get a vegan meal in the airport.
I ordered the meatball sub and it was okay. The portion size wasn't huge but it was still filling enough. I will still go back there the next time I fly out of terminal one.

Pros: It's vegan, Can eat on the go

Cons: Long wait, No seating

Anticlimactic

As a HP follower on YouTube I had high hopes for a store carrying that name. It fell quite short. The food was edible so its not like it was a super bad experience. It was just lacking in flavour (and as a larger guy, I always appreciate a bit of an expanded portion size which this very much wasn't). It would have been acceptable on a lower priced meal deal but not at what it cost.

Pros: Ideally located

Cons: Food lacking flavour, So so pricing

Finally a vegan place at T1

And you can even get their amazing vegan pesto and take it wherever you are going.

Lovely food

The food is great, but the customer service in this place is appalling. That is the only reason I haven’t given it five stars

Pros: Great food

Cons: Rude staff, A bit pricey

All vegan!

Very expensive but great to see vegan options at Dublin Airport. Not as high quality as the other Happy Pear restaurants.

Big portions good taste

They told me it was all vegan now. Had the big Buddha box and a soup which was 17 euros in total but a good portion size

Hit and miss

Went the first time for a porridge which was nice enough (although waaaaay too much maple syrup) then next time I went my hot chocolate was awful. It was basically just steamed milk there was no chocolate

Pros: Good to have a place like this in airport , Porridge

Cons: Expensive, Hot chocolate dreadful

Not so happy

I ordered two avocado toasts and a bounty bar from the Happy Pear restaurant in T1 Dublin Airport. This is what a received; cold, untoasted bread, with roughly chopped vegetables thrown into the box. I have tried contacted the company about this and have not been responded to.

Quality control needed if you're going to expand

We ordered 2 breakfast burritos, which were very bland. I was really looking forward to this new HP and it was especially disappointing considering the price you pay for food at airports.

1. If it's called a 'breakfast' anything, you would expect certain items that define it as such, the only applicable ingredient here were 3 button mushrooms. The rest was some fresh veg and avocado. Even if you add something like a hash brown, a sausage, some tofu scramble, already you will elevate this wrap.
2. It was all wrap before you even get to the filling
3. Badly heated through, areas of warm and areas of cold. Very unpleasant.

It's a pity that there is a bad branch of HP considering the great reputation of its original cafe. The service wasn't much to compliment either, tired or bored staff. After we paid and were waiting on our food, the girl that took our payment asked us if we paid, which I thought was inappropriate.

My partner actually commented about the poor wrap quality to the manager (we didn't complain or ask for anything in return) and the girl said the chef is off injured., which I think is a poor excuse. Also worth noting there is a bad review of the same dish a month ago on Google, so I don't think this has anything to do with anyone being sick.

It's absolutely fantastic to have a fully dedicated vegan eatery in an airport, but this wasn't worth the money and it wasn't any different to the poorly vegan options available already at some cafes.

Pros: Good to have vegan option in an airport

Cons: Just not tasty!, Expensive, Inconsistent quality and service

Over the Moon

I was over the moon to find this place in the Dublin airport! It's not technically 100% vegan as they had cream for coffee. But all the food is vegan (that I noted anyway) and 100% delicious.

Pros: great staff, delicious food, great location

Great Airport Stop

Walked by without researching first. Great to have this option at the airport. My only concern is that the server informed me that everything on the menu is 100% vegan, and when I looked it up on Happy Cow afterwards to write a review...I see this is listed as lacto ovo vegatarian. So I suppose it's possible the servers don't understand the differences between vegetarian and vegan (or Happy Cow has this listed incorrectly).

Great tasty food

Located after security, follow the sign towards gates 101-224
Really nice selections of sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups, most of them vegan.
The shop also sells some of the Happy Pear products, like their granolas, sweet bites and hummus. Unfortunately they don't store their delicious pestos.

Pros: Tasty, healthy vegan food at the airport , Selection of Happy Pear products

Cons: Serves dairy and eggs

What a rose between thorns

Trying to find this place and accidentally walked by it! Wife had falafel wrap and I had SLT. So amazing!!! You have to try the Trix bar (nice play on words), It's better than the high street version. All our meat eating friends also tried our food and loved it. Keep up the good work 🌱

Pros: Everything

Cons: Not cheap, but well worth the money

Love it!!

I was so so so happy to see a vegan place at the airport! I wanted to order one of everything but I resisted. I had the sandwich with the sausages on it and it was pretty tasty. I hope I fly out of that terminal all the time so I can grab some tasty food for the plane.
