Advertising Separate Vegan Menu??? - Edit
They advertise a separate vegan menu but when we asked for it, was told they don't do one and they offer vegan stuff on the menu. The menu consisted of 0 vegan options. When we asked again they said they can do vegan sausages that's it. How can this place claim to offer vegan options. If that's the case anywhere that has an onion in the kitchen can advertise it. Would not recommend for anyone who is vegan. The fact they also advertise "as seen on happy cow" is also an absolute joke.

Menu had some vegan options which we didn't try as only in there for a drink. Had a decaf oat latte which was good. There seems to be a resident dog who was good-natured, if a little persistent in sniffing round for food.

Super breakfast - Edit
Had a great veggie sausage sandwich and cappuccino for breakfast - the staff were really friendly and chill too, they were happy to accommodate various needs. As the weather was nice, we sat outside on the terrace which was a little crammed but had awesome views of York Minster. The inside seating looked comfy.

Love it in here. Proper old style bar with plenty of vegan friendly beers to choose from. Take a Leffe or an Estrella upstairs for nice vistas of the York Minster. Not for posers

We had a veggie breakfast and avocado and egg on toast it was lovely and decent prices too! Cosy and cute little place with a roof terrace and view of minster! Deffo would eat there again. Friendly staff!😄

Always a favourite bar of mine to visit whenever I am in York, I've had many a good time here. A recent visit uncovered a vegan section on their menu, which looked very impressive whilst I sipped on my leffe beer. I'll definitely be eating here next time.
