Excellent vegan options

I had an out milk golden milk latte, it was very tasty and the perfect balance of sweet and medicinal. I also had some kind of beet and chickpea burger with a salad and avocado. They were very generous with the avocado! We had a special soup of the day with Jan, ginger and peanut. I think they make their own bread or get it from the bakery. Anyway, the bread was great and they provided vegan butter! We also had a delicious creamy and crispy peanut butter ball which was obviously vegan. I can’t wait to return! The vibe is bohemian and cozy, everybody is welcome and there’s lots of space between the tables. They made a special effort to sanitize the table before we sat down.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Tasty food, they make it with love!, Spacious and interesting interior

Cons: Parking might be limited if you go at the weekend, Old building - a little wobbly table and chairs, Closes early Monday to Thursday

My favourite place to go for lunch

Their soups are always vegan and yummy; the dal is my favorite. They also have yummy vegan treats and desserts and occasionally a vegan pizza option. Good coffee. Great atmosphere and cool music. An iconic Sunshine Coast destination.

Fast, friendly, and delicious

We stopped in for lunch, not knowing what to expect, and we were not disappointed. The kale salad was FANTASTIC, although on the smallish side for the large serving. We also had the dahl, great, and the vegan salted carmel bar, which was really good. Lots of picnic tables outside, and indoor seating too. Highly recommend this place.

Love the ‘boot!

Always a treat to stop by the gumboot. Had the beet cake topped with hummus and avocado and lentil Dahl. So freaking good. They have the best espresso, lovely front and back patio and it’s super cozy inside. Always a good assortment of vegan desserts too.

Pros: Vegan options , Best espresso , Cozy and comfy

Cons: More vegan items would be great!

Easy and tasty

Food was reasonably priced and tasty. The Live Cake was super dry but the icing wasn’t bad. Yam soup was great. The Beet Cake (a beet lentil veggie patty) was alright but the tahini miso dressing really kicked it up a notch. Order at the counter and the staff will bring the food out to you. I’d choose the Cafe over the Gumboot Restaurant next door.

Pros: Several vegan options

Cons: Closed for dinner

Delish

Great atmosphere and delish food, with vegan options and able to accommodate special requests. Great find on the coast.

Pros: 2 outdoor patio areas
