Great vegan-friendly brunch! - Edit
The vegan breakfast bowl was just what I needed. Loved the vegan poached egg, and the white bean hummus was great. I’d definitely return for brunch next time I’m in NYC.

I commend any place that has multiple creative vegan options, which Grey Dog certainly does. I normally would have gone for the Crispy Rice Bowl, but I was intrigued by the Vegan Buffalo Chicken since you don’t see that often. I found it to be bland & ‘bread heavy’ and regretted my choice. In general, the consensus from the table was that everything seemed to be missing a sauce (both the vegan dishes and the non vegan dishes).

Vegan options but with a surcharge - Edit
My first menu was the vegan breakfast burrito. When reading "chipotle mayo" in the ingredients I asked the staff if the mayo was vegan - no it is NOT! Be careful! They left it out... the second time I went there I ordered the Breakfast Bowl but instead of the pached egg I asked for a scrumbled egg with Zero Egg which was no problem. I ordered the cappuccino with oat milk... I had to pay a surcharge for the Zero Egg AND the oat milk... which is very disappointing. The staff was very friendly though and they are not to blame for the restaurant's policy. But I would not go back there as long as vegans have to pay a surcharge...
