The greenhouse is great overall, a tonne of good options and is a nice place to visit.

Overall, I'd really recommend the greenhouse, there are tonnes of delicious options and a selection of pastries and cakes to take away.

Good noodles, excellent pasty, but exceptional cakes - we shared the jaffa cake cake, frangipane and rocky road and each one was separate and flavourful heaven. Only afterwards remembered they're also vegan.

We visited this restaurant when we came back to London from a weekend in Bath – it cut the journey in half and looked like an ideal place to stop. Glad we did!
Read moreWe ordered the spiced lentil bomb burger, the patty was incredible. Hard to believe it was gluten-free, as well as vegan. Burgers come with gourmet chunky chips by default, but you can swap them with sweet potatoes if you prefer. It felt like a mix of comfort and healthy food… Very satisfying and yet quite light on the stomach.
They also have a bakery section. We bought a couple of chocolate fudge brownies as a takeaway for dessert later on. They were incredible... Out of this world. I've tried a lot of vegan & gluten-free brownies before (it's my favourite treat) and this one was the best ever, by a mile.

Absolutely fantastic place! All veggie menu which meant it was hard to decide what to go for. Settled for bao buns (AMAZING) and (mock) fish and chips with mushy pea croquettes (PHENOMENAL). Washed that down with a soy hot chocolate with vegan whipped cream and marshmallows on top, it was fabulous! Can't wait to revisit and can't recommend it enough. The staff were also really lovely.

Great food, could do with a make-over - Edit
This place feels quirky, stuck in a small row of shops, next to a play-park, in a housing area, you need to know where to look to find it. The front-of-house seems a bit lacking with young, possibly inexperienced staff, but friendly and polite all the same. The décor is also quirky, a bit pokey, plain and dated inside with tables-for-two that are small, and basic chairs that are not the comfiest. That said, there are a couple of outside tables for alfresco dining, if you need a smoke with your coffee, with views of the carpark.
Read moreThe real USP of this place though is the food! With an almost 100% plant-based menu (cow cheese options on pizzas and cow milk in drinks aside) there are loads of really tasty options. I’m guessing the staff/cooks are vegan as there is an evident degree of care and love that goes into making the food look good and most importantly taste great. They do a decent Sunday morning fry-up to combat your hangover, plus they sell vegan beers for a hair-of-the-dog. They are also open in the evenings for dinner, although we’ve never been so can’t comment on the ambience, although it isn’t hugely appealing to me. That said, whenever we have been during the day, the place is always busy, so the word is clearly out there for those looking for a good plant-based feed without the awkward questions and funny looks… vegan is pretty much the norm here.

Delicious spot for a vegan meal! Wonderful service and great prices. Would definitely return. We got a latte & mocha for drinks, fishless sticks sandwich, breakfast burrito, and a side of chunky chips - I recommend it all😄Great selection of vegan pastries and excellent espresso drinks. Parking available in a shared lot and free wifi!

Yep agree, it is such shame that cow’s milk is offered, even more disappointing to hear waiters saying during our visits “would you like a normal milk” offering cruelty rather than encourage to try alternatives. I’d love to support the business a lot more, the food is good and well prepared, great many options for those not on wfpb, but the vegetarian options put me off.

First time visit as we happenedto be in the area. We unfortunately missed breakfast which ends at 11.45am so instead ordered 2 burgers, the black bean and the Korean. I have to say the black bean burger I ordered was delicious! The portions were ample and the paprika chunky chips that came with it were really tasty. We were too stuffed to try any cakes but there was a large selection on offer. We will definitely be back, and hopefully in time to try the breakfast

I’ve been vegetarian/vegan for many years, my boyfriend isn’t but enjoys good food and is happy to support veggy cafes with me. I asked would he go again after his recent first experience - a resounding YES 👍 most definitely 😃
The lentil burger and chips with homemade sauces was scrumptious - you can double up the burger for a small amount which I’m looking forward to doing next time I have a burger 🍔 😋
The Thai special was also yummy. We shared both.
The Greenhouse Cafe is a recent discovery for us. Looking forward to trying out more of the menu. 😃 How lucky we are to have this great veggy cafe.

We visit the Greenhouse a lot and every time we are delighted by the food. There is so much choice with ever-changing specials. Although it is listed as vegetarian all the food is vegan and delicious! Staff are always friendly and the price of food is very reasonable. And the vegan brownies are amazing!

All dishes are vegan, only dairy being available for tea and coffee for some reason. Has specials (e.g. "duck" bao buns). Good selection of mains including pastas, curries, pizza, burgers all vegan. Has lots of vegan desserts including Jaffa cake.

Had the spicy lentil bomb, light and fresh, tasted amazing! Great serving size. Nice that it was different than all the “fake” meat patties out there. Also had the truffle chips and my partner had the carbonara special.

The Greenhouse offers an extensive range of vegan treats, lunch, and dinner options. I’m a big fan of their blueberry croissant and paninis, and look forward to trying more of their menu! The staff are very lovely and approachable, and have been very helpful when I have had allergy queries.

Hooray for Happy Cow! We’d never have found this restaurant which is tucked away on a parade of shops on the outskirts of Fleet otherwise - but it was well worth the trip! Quite a varied menu included burgers (with really delicious chips!) and a Buddha bowl which I had, everything very fresh and tasty. I couldn’t eat any more after that but took home a vegan brownie which was really yummy. Will definitely return!
